According to today's press Brighton have offered £1 million for him

I hope not, I thought he did enough in the last 10 games to be the number 1. Love his attitude too, he's also been professional in his time here and very patient. Shame, I dont see many better options for the championship

Does that mean stek is staying?? Its gone very quiet with him.

Totally agree.
Maybe rumours of us being interested in Bogdan are true.
David far better goalie than him and Stek

Craven Mad

To me, he's worth more than £1m and I hope he stays.

If he were to go I hope we go for McCarthy from Reading or Butland from Stoke. Bogdan is OK but not an improvement on fisherman Dave.

CincyFulham1

Would hate to see him go and I think he deserves to be No.1.

grandad

With his loyalty & passion I would hate to see him go. Even £10 mil would not be enough.

God I hope these rumours aren't true.  He certainly deserves to be our number 1.  I have heard that McCarthy may be off to Arsenal...........

fulhamben

ok startng to worry now. why would we sell our number 1 and where the hell are our new cm's
CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

PeterFFC

It'd be ridiculous if he's sold. He's worth way more than that and should be our number 1. Wouldn't think they'd even consider the deal. Plus he's currently my favourite player. Is he our longest serving now?

SimpleTactics

It makes no sense to sell him so I don't think we will.

-We don't need the money and even if we did £1 million is no where near enough
-I doubt Stockdale himself wants to leave unless Magath has said he will be backup (highly doubt)
-Stockdale is one of the few "experienced" English players left which will prove vital
-Why would we sell to potential rivals?

Don't sell the players who are passionate and good citizens.  Stocky is one of my favorites so I'd hate to see him go.

He may well be off somewhere, but for £1m??? No chance!

He is English, after all. If he was 43 and had only three functioning limbs, he'd still be worth 1.5m

He is on the bench today after his injury so doubt he is going anywhere.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Agree, that offer is a joke.

PokerMatt

Laughable bid. Absolutely laughable.

I hope if it was actually made that the board just ignored it rather than give it any acknowledgement whatsoever.

Sorry out this is just a punt in the dark. Even if we were selling Stockdale, a proven Championship goalkeeper, he won't be going anywhere for less than 5M.

I don't know, passion and good citizenship doesn't always equal points. We seem to confuse the two concepts quite a bit in this country.

And rightly so.
Scott Parker is the greatest living Englishman.

Spoke to him and the game, and it sounds like he's going. He said something along the lines of if the club want to sell him he doesn't have a choice. Sounds like we've accepted a bid
