Title: Fox hiking up football prices
Post by: RidgeRider on October 22, 2011, 02:03:17 PM
According to DirecTV, News Corp is trying to increase the costs of their Fox Soccer channels by 40% and DirecTV is letting subscribers know that the Fox Channels will be suspended on November 1.

Oh dear.........

DirecTV did this tug of war with Versus not all that long ago and somehow worked it out by taking the channel off the air for awhile and I assumed they stopped sending Versus cheques.  :011:

I may have to buy a nice internet streaming package and forget about Fox Soccer.

Thanks for the information. Strangely, this season so far I have watched much less. I tend to get an internet stream for Fulham and catch highlights of other games later.

Jarv,
Where have you been finding feeds? ATDHE hasn't been carrying us much. MyP2p has changed formats and wants you to do another download. I got a nasty virus from IragGoals last year so I am hesitant to go back. Any suggestions?

I've had the most success at:

http://www.streamhunter.tv/ (http://www.streamhunter.tv/)

Some of the links do want you to install something, but I've usually found adequate links that don't.  Did get stuck once or twice with non-English commentary.
