Title: blue badge spaces
Post by: flyingfish on February 13, 2018, 03:07:15 PM
Due to a cock up by the Supporter Liaison team i haven't been able to book a blue badge space for my aged Father in law.

I am told by LBHF that he can park in any space without restriction with his blue badge, so does anyone know if the streets off Stevenage Road (Greswell st etc) are likely to have any spaces at all that we might park in, are are they all typically completely rammed? If I'm going to end up miles away I'll uber it to the ground with him but that is going to cost money, two ways.  I want to avoid as much of a walk as possible

I have a blue badge and have always managed to park close to the ground, inside the "Road Closed" barriers which they move to let you past. I arrive fairly early though.

great thanks

Where do they put the road closed barriers? At the end by Stevenage Road, or next to Fulham Palace Road? Planning on arriving by about 2.

The barriers are fixed at Woodlawn road all roads leading down to the ground.

Normal parking meters were in a hell of a mess for the last home match. Some old ones only taking old pound coins, many old ones not working, new ones seemingly taking only credit cards and some new ones not working.

Hope you have better luck with blue badge parking but in my opinion LBHF need a kick in the right place from the mayor perhaps.
