Title: two Mitros
Post by: JOND999 on March 12, 2018, 03:48:16 PM
i know Mitroglou did nothing for us but he has shown fine form at Olympiacos, Benfica and Marseille since then - 56 goals in 97 league matches.  he clearly is a world class striker in first division football.

i thought it was a funny coincidence that our new Mitro was brought in under similar circumstances - big striker hoping to salvage the latter part of our season - but this time it worked!!

if you had to choose one man for the remaining matches AND considering who you'd prefer in the Prem, which Mitro would you choose to own right now?

I feel as if I've just been asked whether I'd rather have a small lottery win or a hard kick in the goolies.

I have it from on high that "the goolies" are more accurately known as peanuts. The source of course is Gentleman Jim.

To be fair to Mitro 1.Saw him play pre season friendly and he looked a totally different player.Shame he was injured when he came what might have been.

Jim has history with his vocabulary in a previous game this season he's referred to "The Niagras",  :dft004: which was a new one to me.

Great thread actually.

That's quite an amazing record. Makes you wonder if the circumstances had been different..

Yeah, saw that game too and he looked different class. Clearly very competent when motivated.. not keen though on a relegation fight. Shame, as he clearly had talent.
