Title: NFR Ray Wilson RIP

Sadly just been announced that he has died. Great player - nice bloke - got to know him when I was having physio in Huddersfield ( where he became an undertaker when he retired from football) Condolences to his family and friends

Another 1966 English World Cup Winner passes away to that Great Football Pitch in the Sky.
A quality and very skilful left back. RIP Ray Wilson.

A wonderful left back for Huddersfild Town and then Everton. Will never be forgotten from that magical World Cup Final. RIP Ray Wilson.

Another of the 66 legends gone. A very classy fullback and quiet, unassuming man.

 Ray Wilson and George Cohen- helped rewrite the book on  full-back play, and Fred, Targett, and Sess are their true inheritors .

A great strength of Ramsey's XI was the perfect balance achieved with Cohen and Wilson, allowing attacking moves to easily start on either wing.
