Quote from: Angus Telford on April 17, 2024, 08:42:37 PMNo one wants a flare in their face so of course they should be banned strictly speaking but with stadiums these days being made from fire retardant materials and having well-rehearsed procedures for evacuation onto the pitch etc, surely the risk of serious harm is pretty low. They do enhance the atmosphere. Not saying they should be allowed but IMO ejection and a warning for next time would be a fair punishment.
Can't believe you seem not to realise how dangerous these flares can be. Fulham have made a stance but I think whoever brings flares etc into grounds should be banned for life.

Quote from: sunburywhite on April 16, 2024, 04:24:28 PMYou go to a supermarket and you can buy as much alcohol as you want but you can only buy 2 packets of paracetamol

Or in overwords you can kill yourself with drinking way too much you arent allowed to die by an overdose

If you wanted to do that you could go into the Chemist and buy 2 more then another supermarket etc

Please if you ever feel desperate don't take Paracetamol to end life.It is a very painful way to die starting with stomach bleeding.

Sad about Dorking - especially after they had thumped Chesterfield at home.

I agree, under Roy I always felt 0-0 was on the cards.
However,it was a great time and introduced me to Fulham from Sankt Pauli.

its not just a question of results or how we play (which have been fantastic ) but his ability to get the best out of and develop players in multi positions and regardless of age which impresses me.Roy did a fantastic job for us so it hard to compare them but for me Marco is the more complete trainer.

Still ranks behind Roy for me for the reasons given above, but I think he's the first for 40 odd years to have the potential to do better if/when he leaves (unlike Roy)

Quote from: Stoneleigh Loyalist on April 17, 2024, 02:26:31 PMA bad year for Surrey with Sutton and Dorking Wanderers both being relegated

And, at a slightly less exalted level, Kingstonian too.
