Perhaps we can build from here but beating that load of rubbish by a single deflected goal doesn't fill me with confidence.

FFC In Oz

AA with a couple of embraces for Iwobi there.

Fingers crossed it's just cramp for Josh and he's okay.

LittleErn

Nervy win, but a win is a win. Let's hope it settles any nerves going forward, although I don't think you could say our performance WAS nervy.

Currently in 15th.

Does the League Cup count as one of the games?

First State

That should've been a 4-0 match.

But it wasn't and with our forward line you surely aren't surprised?

We deserved the win 100%. But gosh was that a nervy one. Iwobi deflected shot should have been saved but luckily it went in. Hopefully this is a turning point! Still not sure about finishing the game without a striker on the field - against better opposition we would invite pressure.

By the way, great to see Cairney back, top player

LittleErn

I wonder if we could appeal the red card on the grounds that the pitch was very greasy?

Only because we suck at finishing our chances.   Build up and defensively we were WAY better than Hull.

We sorely need an attacking player in the transfer window.

I didn't have a problem with Palacios up top as long as we have better defenders behind him.   He has good on
ball skill.

It's 3 points and some attractive football but some very dire finishing.

But we all know AA will continue with Gonzalo can't hit a barn door Garcia.

I thought Palacious looked more likke a striker than Garcia.

We'll take it. My nerves are shot and it wasnt anywhere near perfect, but we will take it. A 1-0 battering thay hopefully stops the rot. We need to be a lot more clinical if we want to stay up though, that should have been 3 or 4 nil.

MisfitKid

It is time for a Muniz start.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most...

I can remember when we played Hull at home, outplayed them, and got beaten 1-0 at the very end. This is so much better.

I thought my head was going to explode while listening to the game.

For all our troubles this season, I'm reasonably happy with the squad, it's the tactics and teamwork that have caused the most problems IMO!

But if we keep failing to score (at least some) of the chances we make the struggle will continue.

One of the most sickening games I've ever watched live. Followed closely by the 2-2 in our first relegation season. Oh and let's not forget the 6-0, but I watched that on TV.
