If you remove the injury spell, what is his goals/games ratio and surely he is up there with the best.??
In fact, I was thinking of putting him in my fantasy team but do not want to jinx him. Also, I would have to transfer out one of my 3 fulham players.

Other than Rooney, I can't think of anyone else in such good form.

If league goals per minute ratio is what you are looking for, lots of players are ahead of him

Just to name a few:
Agbonlahor, Drogba, Dirk Kuyt, Darren Bent, Fernando Torres, John Carew and I am sure there are more

Mind you, you wouldn't mention his name with any of the above a year ago

I have always thought that, for international selection, there is a case for picking the "in form" centre forward and giving him the old "no. 9".
If BZ continues, he must have a chance against Heskey, Bent, Crouch and even Defoe, who scores loads but all against rubbish teams. (5 in one game). Owen surely has no chance now.
I don't like the cliches, but as RH says, he does hold the ball up well. certainly equal or better than this list.
Agbonlahor, forgot about him. He has incredible pace to add to his goals. I think he will be on the plane to SA.
