Matty Briggs and Leyton Orient take on Charlton Athletic this evening. It should be on SSN1 for you Limey-based people and online for us others.

cheers mate. etuhu's playing for nigeria later too. but both kick off at the same time, oh the life of a football fan.

well I watched half of both games... Etuhu played the first 60 minutes or so and got subbed (their manager is the african domenech, he's so clueless). He did pretty well actually, defensively at least, and nigeria went on to beat zambia on penalties. briggs didn't play against charlton but I watched the second half anyway and he'll have a tough time trying to get into that back 4, they did really well althought their left back got rinsed a few times by the charlton winger. oh and roy should have a look at that zambia left back... only 16 yet capped 15 times for his country and he looked pretty good up against odemwingie who didn't get a sniff.

I did read something recently - I think, as I remember, it was to do with mental-health problems, maybe related to drink, along with his career not progressing well, and he ended up in bad way.

The interview is very good and covers a lot of the reasons, and how he came to terms with things.

3 factors that stand out to me are, partying, injury and Magath.
