That's it then, he's been in England for 2 days apparently texting friends saying he's not 100% sure on Fulham and was hoping a top 4 club would come in. Newcastle are not a top 4 club but possibly top 6 and have offered much better personal terms.

Again, the 'talk' factor of Newcastle being a top 6 club with 55,000 fans and a much better wage package will swing it for Ruiz. I hope I'm wrong but this one has taken far to long to go through.

Newcastle have a track record of signing expensive foreign players who score prolifically in other countries but flop in the Premiership. Maybe we should be grateful to them if they sign Ruiz.

No, Newcastle logged the bid 2 hours ago, it was accepted by the FC Twenty chairman and made public. It was also made public that they had offered better personal terms and it was said the player was "interested". Ruiz has been in England for the past 2 day's, has completed a medical at Fulham but has said to be "mulling" over the deal at his hotel. It has now been said that he has been texting/talking to friends saying that Fulham wasn't really his ideal destination and hoped that a top 4 club would come in. Now that Newcastle has entered the frame, he believes them to be a better out fit, possibly top 6 side. Also the improved "personal terms" could sway him. A helicopter is on stand by Newcastle to talk to the player.
