Wow! look at all the friggin smilies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where was I?

Oh yeah; there's a new wrinkle. Every time you respond using the quote mechanism, a "quick reply" pane pops up about 10 seconds before the quote does. It's kind of weird, and for those of us who type with lightning speed it plays hell with what's quoted.

Whatever "improvement" caused this to happen ... well, can we have our old ball back.

Hi HatterDon

I've turned off the 'quick reply' panel as a default however, anyone who wants to use it can turn it back on....

go to your profile and select 'Look and Layout Preferences', there you will find a list of options, near the end is...
'Use quick reply on topic display'.... change this option.
