I screamed at DE's performance far less than any other player in white. He almost scored a winner for us, and he seemed not to be at fault on any of Sunderland's good chances.

Of course, since none of the other front 6 really showed up, earning MOTM is pretty faint praise. (Sorry, the frame cannot be MOTM, by definition.)

I've been the first to suggest dickson may not be that good on many occasions this term- but he did well on sat.

A lot of his passes were one-touch crisp flicks forward to boot - or shoe - whichever fits!!!!!

His performance was very entertaining.  The highlight of the day for me.

It seems obvious that Etuhu has been reading this board and is spending less time with computer games and more time developing his skills on the pitch. Keep it up Dickson and you'll actually end up being as popular as Sidwell!   old git

I don't buy into this theory that if you hit the woodwork you are unlucky, or if it's your goal you are lucky. The bar and post are not the target. When I was 15 I hit a freekick onto the bar and I was gutted - my coach told me that I may as well have missed by 30 yards as hitting the bar doesn't get you anything more that that. Goals count, nothing else.
