My favourite bits from that glimpse into the asylum -


1) FFS.

They haven't even got a good squad.

Hodgson is doing an amazing job there.

How did a team with Bobby Zamora, Dickson Ethtu, Simon Davies, Chris Baird and Steven Kelly beat Juve 4-1. Thats a relegation side, not a last 8 of Europe side.


2) I don't know which is worse. The fact that they are still in Europe (although it is Europe's equivelent of the JPT), or the fact that Chelsea are out of The Champions League.

3) This should be a benchmark for BFC.
Within 10 years, we should aim for something similar....with strong financial foundations, and an increase in base support, we too, can achieve what Fulham have achieved.

4) Every crowd shot looked like a Hurlingham Club day out.

5) I don't think we've ever had a rivalry with Fulham especially as they were only in the dumps with us for a short while. QPR yes and even that's over, although the odour lingers. I'll own up - I like Fulham. It's a nice place and the people are friendly. Let's face it no-one gives a * about Brentford anymore except Bees fans. Wind that up.

6) for the real F*lham fans, fair play - must've been a magnificent night for them. half the people who were there last night will be supporting Chelsea again in 10 years time though, and will barely remember it.

Nothing wrong with being happy to beat Carlisle, just ask Rodney McAree.
I remember having to wait in Carlisle for hours after that game (my one and only visit, so far), I went up by National Express, the independent minded little cuss that I am, but as I'd shouted myself hoarse during the game, nobody knew I was from dahn saff, so no bother from the locals.
Nice museum, too.
