In the mist of a great philosophical debate tonight, with a friend of mine who does not watch football , the idea of who Fulham would compare to amongst NHL teams came up. For the life of me I struggled to think of one hockey team that would compare to our mighty whites. My best guess as of now would be to compare ourselves to the St. Louis Blues yet I am struggling to convince myself that this is proper. I am hoping that some outside perspective would help or just some other opinions to give me an different perspective on the topic.
Thanks!!!

Good question Mr AmericanJames. I have become a big hockey fan myself and I love the game. I think St Louis Blues is a good shout. They have never won the Stanley Cup (I believe), but maybe against that you can hold the age of the franchise. St Louis is a relatively young franchise. Fulham is the oldest club in London so that does not compare well. Maybe if you ignore the 1994 New York Rangers winning Stanley Cup and breaking the "curse of 1940", NY Rangers is not a too bad a comparison in the modern age.

Hard to find a really good comparison though, but then I didn't grow up in "ice hockey land" so may be missing some facts dft012 Terrific sport to watch though. (but expensive, at least in NY)
