Mr. Finn, Not sure of your readily available shopping options, but if you have a good size pot (ceramic works best) you can braise a pork or beef roast in green sauce (chili verde). Salt and pepper the roast, brown on all sides, take out and add thick slices of onions, whole carrots or celery (or both) for the roast to sit on top of. Add 2 cups of chicken or beef broth, 1 cup of water, and 3 or 4 cans of the 7oz verde sauce cans (the roast should be half-way covered w/liquid). Put the lid on and depending on the weight of the roast just simmer for 3-4 hours. The roast will literally fall apart w/a fork. Can be served by itself or you can go Southern Californian style and serve w/corn tortillas (food you can eat with your hands is what your looking for) garnish w/chopped white onions or cilantro (mixing the two works perfectly). Super easy and super good. Cheers
That sounds absolutely delicious Mr SoCal, will give that a go. Off to the supermarket. Cheers mate!!
