Barney Travers and my good self are part of the HUGE Fulham collective (16 hardy souls!!) who have just set off from Motspur Park on the coach to Liverpool!! We are just picking up another 26 from Craven Cottage (!!) and then we are off!! My God it is a motley crew and no alcohol!!
Wish us luck!! Barney is already tearing his hair out and waiting for a drink at the first services!!

Nice one EB. It amazes me that more people get on at Craven Cottage than at Motspur. I'm surprised any fans can still afford to live within a few miles of the place.
Sometimes the official coaches look more like a day trip from an 'institution' than a football coach. You and Barney should fit right in!!

Sadly, we haven't even managed to fill the coach, hope there is a few more making their way up there or our numbers could be as embarrassing as Wigan's at Arsenal!!
It's not easy being on a "dry" coach and the first pint in the Arkle won't last long!!
Should have plenty of room to get the flag out!!

Oh God, The Arkle!! The 160 year old landlady, Beryl, passed away a couple of years ago apparently after 90 years service in there so they might have done it up since I was last in there. I only know cos I work with a scouser that used to collect glasses in there when he was a teen. She had a right go at me when I asked someone to get me a pint if I gave them the money as they were getting served. "stopped pushing in la', wait ya turn" grrrrrr!! Have a good trip lads. |
