It's my Grandad's 60th, the first time he's back over from Spain since my Nan died in the summer. On Sunday, we're having a barbeque (Most probably inside), with family/family friends coming over, and I'm split on whether I should stay in, or go to Fulham for the final home game of the season.

FPT, would you really want to upset your Grandad by showing him that he is less important to you than an (insignificant) match at CC? If you make the wrong choice you'll regret it once he's gone.

I would stay to see your grandfather. He lives abroad and recently lost his wife. I think he would like to see all of his family, including his grandson!

See your grandad, it's the right thing to do. but if you live near Fulham couldn't you pop out to the match for a couple of hours?

Would your Grandad be interested in seeing a Fulham game? If so take him, lots of very helpful people on here if you just ask.

I take the points guys. Obviously I want to give the boys a decent send off for a decent season, but I think the recent passing of my grandmother and the game meaning nothing has made my decision. Thank you!

When it comes down to it football is just something we do to pass our Saturdays.

Your granddad will appreciate it I'm sure!
