Interesting, same thing happens here in CR with people from Nicaragua, there are a lot of them because economically we are a bit better, then they come ad take the hard work jobs we don´t want, so to me, they are valuable.

the thing here is that you can joke as much as you want of somebody because of some stupid stereotype, but remember, based on that, you are also object of jokes in somewhere else...

Why are we so keen to unload the guy, for months there has been articles about him going.
Why would he want to leave us, he looks happy  unless he does not get on with Jol  ???

By the way, why do the Germans dislike the Dutch?

they're not fond of dykes?

See what I did there.  Hilarious

Hatter, I found that funny, I'll admit.

And Germans hate the Dutch because they are neighbours. It is as simple as that.
Germans dislike Poles, Dutch, French, ...
Belgians dislike Dutch, French...
English dislike Welsh, Scots, Irish, ...

Germans LIKE Poles, Dutch, French. Do your research, my friend. By the way, Germans find it hard to dislike a nation, purely because of our very own history.

In my opinion, there is no need in hate another nation.

Other nations sadly still have some resentiments against the Germans. But that's another topic, innit?

Hate was a strong word. But tell me: you don't happen to know any jokes concerning nations don't you? Ours always include the Dutch and the French. We have stereotypical observations about some nations, mostly our neighbouring ones.
But that's something completely different. I like the Poles, I like the French. The Swiss people don't like the Germans so much, but I for one LOVE the Scandinavians, the Danes and the Swedes. Lovely people. Must be my Northern German nature, I'm from a small town near the island of Fehmarn, one of the gates to Scandinavia.

But I have many polish friends as well. Great people, very positive mentality.

Moussa Dembele dislikes us all now because we forgot this thread was supposed to be about him.  Personally, I like the lad's ball control skills but I have a lot in common with Sgt. Schultz.

I am...who I am.

Wasn't there a song about that?

Someone called Melinda something? Rings a vague bell but was never considered for a place in the BalDrick record collection. Not to be mistaken for I Am and I'm Me by Twisted Sister, which was also never considered for aforementioned record collection

And then there's "I am, I said" by the constantly irritating newlywed Neil Diamond.

I will NEVER put a Neil Diamond link on this or any site.
