Wet Spam must be joking , they are complaining to the prem league about our team selection against Hull , making themselves look even more stupid , be great if we send them down when we play them

os5889

Fulham
01 Schwarzer
03 Konchesky
05 Hangeland
06 Baird
07 Shorey yellow card
26 Smalling
11 Gera yellow card
17 Riise (Okaka Chuka 53)
23 Dempsey
29 Davies yellow card
34 Dikgacoi yellow card (Greening 59)

So Zamora injured, Duff had a knock, Murphy is injured, Hughes got a rest for a future man ure defender, All these players have played in the Europa league and are 1 million plus players, a lot more than can be said for Wet Spams tripe brigade!

HatterDon

There are three players on the starting XI that we'd not consider "best XI" material -- Dikgacoi, Riise, and Smalling. Of these three, one started for us AT West Ham. I don't remember any complaints by anyone who wasn't a Fulham supporter about THAT decision.

If The Cheats want to blame anyone for their league position, how about the Icelandic twats who ruined their club. The hell with them; they should have gone down two seasons ago anyhow.

And though not a part of our 'best XI' Smalling has just been sold for a fee in excess of ten million.  The Spammers must be joking, particularly when it was an ineligible player who kept them up almost single-handed a couple of years ago.

The Badger

Oh dear. It seems as though the cheats are getting desperate now. This 'complaint' is highly amusing.

We have a 1st-team squad of roughly 23 players of which have played in excess of 50 games this season - so far, in 4 competions (PL, F.A Cup, Europa League, Carling Cup) - you can't tell me that West Ham or any other club wouldn't do the same in our position. I think we are well within our rights to rest a few players who may have been carrying knocks in preperation for a game of tonights undoubted significance. At the end of the day a club of our size - adjudging by the plethora of games wev'e have to contend with on a daily basis, should be allowed to prioritise certain games for the benefit of the team/club, without becoming accused of 'damaging' the integrity of the league. In this case it just so happens to be West Ham who suffer as a result of a number of 'enforced' changes to our playing squad, and anyway, there Roy's players so Roy should be able to accommodate them how he so wishes, and select the team he sees fit for purpose.

It's not our fault there s**t.

Hopefully we can send them down when the oppurtunity arises.

Not quite in the same league as Mick Mcarthy and Wolvesgate was it?

Anyway bit insultingof them to suggest that Smalling and the gang are inferior players. Not our first choice maybe but they have all proven themselves in Europe.

All that lot ever managed in Europe was to get into a ruck and then crash out of qualifying.

Certainly not, although I'm of the opinion that the FA (or the PL, can't remember which body was responsible) set an interesting precedent in fining Wolves. In the extremly unlikely event that we were fined too, the squad system we currently enjoy would effectively be abolished in league football.

SoCalJoe

Went over on the kumb.com messageboard to see how the Spam fans felt about it. Aside from 1 or 2 posts (out of 60) the fans are embarrassed that Sullivan and Co. would even lodge a complaint.
You can observe a lot by just watching.

Lighthouse

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is relaxed with Fulham's decision to field an understrength team last week.

It has been reported relegation battlers West Ham could complain after Fulham rested a number of players for last week's trip to another struggling side in Hull and lost 2-0.

West Ham are above Hull and the Barclays Premier League relegation zone only on goal difference.

Martinez said: "As a manager you always make decisions that can help your team.

"Roy Hodgson and Fulham have had such a successful season - they know exactly what they have got behind the scenes and know what they need.

"For anyone to criticise another football club when they are in such outstanding form is very foolish.

"Roy Hodgson has got to make the decisions to help his team achieve their aims for the season."
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

It didn't go without notice by the commentary team at Upton Park on MOTD on Saturday that the pitchside advertising was closer than normal to the touchlines for the visit of Stoke.  This was nothing to do with players....ahem, player...who might need a run-up for a long throw then...?

The best response to that was the scoreline.

Fcuk the hammers, bunch of losers!
Fulham for life!

WHITEwitch

We have an interesting run in to the end of the season with virtually all the relegation strugglers at home so I guess they are setting out their stall in hopes of stopping us giving them their rightful desserts.

Waste of time as Roy will do what he wants to do regardless of outside influences.  He can taste that Europa cup now.

Sending the lying cheating bar stewards down would be icing on the cake for me though I'd feel sorry for Zola at the same time.

Don't they still owe us half a mill for cheating????

blingo

I wholeheartedly agree with your comments WW  :dft012:

After stating my desire on facebook that we relegate them at the Cottage in May, I've had messages from spammers fans agreeing that its embarassing and no fans complained about the selection. Its just the desperate board. I still hope we esend them down though  :038:

Ooh, cynical, Ron, cynical. :014:

And absolutely accurate, too! :54:
Any fool can criticise, condemn and complain, and most fools do.

The Bronsons

Zola was just on the radio sounding embarrassed about the complaint and basically backing Hodgson.

The porn guys are turning into quite a double act - dumb and dumberer.

West Ham have used at total of 26 squad players in the Premier lg this season.

Fulham have used a total of 25 squad players in the premier lg this season

Rambling_Syd_Rumpo

part of the problem is that fans of the club are now the owners and they are still acting like fans.As an owner you have to look at each situation coldly with your business head on and they are'nt, they are acting like fans and making themselves a laughing stock(and I'm not talking about that pillocks dress sense :58:).Like it or not football is not and cannot be treated like a hobby. They should keep there mouth shut look after the club on and off the pitch.
For an example, when they took over the club their spokeswoman(the short skirted one who ran Brum for them) said that when they move into the Olympic stadium they might call themselves Olympic West Ham :005:
