Just looking at The Opta performance stats for the season so far, one thing that stands out is that we are now the 7th most prolific passing side in The Prem after 'The Big 6' (Man City & Spuds being the other 2). 

I am sure that is a big jump on last season and is a further illustration of how well our game is getting grooved. We make pretty much twice as many passes a game as sides like Bolton and Stoke (also worst shooting accuracy - how do they do it??) and I'll bet our average possession percentage has gone up quite a bit this season as well.

With all the tiredness, enforced changes because of injury and new faces to bed in, actually improving the quality of our game season on season is a hell of an achievement.
