MOTD THE GAME WAS UNINTERESTING

So match of the day think the game was dull, their justification for putting it last.  We played very well created lots of chances.  Their were two incidents that should have been red cards.  Jol devised an interesting defensive system to stop Stoke.

If that was not interesting I do not know what is.

Typical of the Match of the day pundits and there condescending attitude towards Fulham. Village idiots..

Mr K.Dilkington

I thought the best bit was when they put Arsenal first on the billing, I thought they were pretty much irrelevant now. Seeing that there out of all the competitions they were in and the fact that these days they have no impact on the title race.

Thought it was very entertaining today. Yes we should have done more in the last third and they were poor. But a great goal, a penalty save, two blind side attacks on our players and some lovely touches again by our players. When we play away we are dull and boring.

But at home we are worth  better coverage by a very tired bunch of 'experts' in a very tired prog.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

As I was walking out of the ground this afternoon I turned to my brother and said that we can expect a rushed summary of the game on MOTD, and it will be last. I also said that the analysis would be exclusively on Berba - his genius and how lucky we are to have him. We were laughing our way through both minutes of coverage.

MotD got right, it was not a great game to watch and was boring in places. 600 school kids and £5 at the Putney end and still loads of room, speaks  volumes playing Stoke.

Those paces were ST holders choosing not to be messed around by Sky especially for a game against a Pulis team. However the official attendance was marginally down on our capacity. A great achievement by the marketing team. 500 potential future supporters some of whom will be pestering their parents to go again.

So far as the game at one point I wished I'd stayed away too. A win another clean sheet. It could have been worse.

Not a great game to introduce new young supporters too though ?

But I bet a good percentage of us were hooked by games of long ago that couldn't be called 'great'.....?

It's just that this great club of ours uses irresistable bait !

Let's hope a good few of those 600 have found their spiritual home.

(P.S. Oh, by the way, that's not Stoke  064.gif)

I actually enjoyed the game - first half especially - and thought MOTD got their summary completely wrong.

Artful Dodger

I think it was more that Stoke were on last rather than us - we just happened to be playing them! I think the general running order is determined by the number of goals rather than quality of the game and our solitary goal put our match bottom. Mind you, thought the quality of the goal might have nudged us further up the order....

I thought it was a good game to watch. I was on the edge of my sunbed for most of the game.

Regardless of the quality of game, it had the least goals of any yesterday. Given that the significance of it to most fans was completely irrelevant, they got it right.

Very clever HM. Subtle wind-ups like these are to be appreciated, I guess.

I have read The Mail on Sunday, The Sunday Times and The Sunday Telegraph reports and I think none of them had reporters at the game as I do not recognise their reports of the game.

It was a game the Fulham dominated with fast flowing passing football with just poor finishing stopping Stoke getting a hammering.  Ruiz, the Greek, Berbatov, Petric, Riise, Dejagah and Sidwell all had good chances that on a another day could have gone in.
