...well to be precise, I'm off out to Claygate tonight for a 1960's fancy dress bash. Now with my tonsorial requirements being a polish and wax it seemed the easiest choice of style. Checkist:-

1) Me Boots (only 7 laces holes)
2) Ben Sherman shirt.
3) Jeans - turned up above boots.
4) Bright socks.
5) Braces, hanging at the sides.
6) Scarf (Fulham) tied to wrist.

Too hot for a Crombie with a bright silk scarf in the top pocket, and too warm for a Harrington, but have been listening to the reggae to get myself into character.

Anything I have forgotten - apart from warning the locals of Claygate..?

You need the Union Jack mate
If you wake up in the morning and nothing hurts, you are most likely dead

Logicalman

Hope you have all the appropriate (small number of ..) tats on display ... like the "cut Here ... " .. and remember, Black and White laces only, none of the blue or red ones!!!!!

LBNo11

...I have tried everywhere to get black and white check shirts button downs, and very thin red braces. They didn't make 'tonic' trousers in size big b@stard sadly, and my Ivy tassles are beyond repair now.

Sadly Tony, white shirt and blue braces - all I could find in the charity shops...

...sorry, I just can't help to move to the beat, just because the dark side nicked it as their own...

Love that one! Especially with the chorus 'Feck off Chelse@'.

Being the age that I am my favourite piece of attire is the old Teddy Boy look.
Drainpipe trousers, bootlace tie, brothel creepers and a slick DA haircut.
Christ, when I think about it I must have looked the goods.
When I used to walk down Northcote Road in Clapham Junction people would cross the road to avoid me. They do the same thing these days but the reasons are entirely different.

Good old "fair" fights outside the Junction Hotel Corkie, no knives just fists boots and glasses, the good old days when two coppers with black maria would have us all legging it!
