news going around the twitter and it looks as if Bairdinho is going to sign for QPHA-hes been training with them the past week-shame really as i liked him as a player-shoddy start but in the end very reliable!

i still think he could have been a good squad player for us!

I do believe he was underused last season and could have proved very useful in our bad run in during the winter period. Personally, I think he's a better footballer than Steve Sidwell, Chris Baird actually has the ability to dictate a game of football, see Juventus 4-1, he was fantastic.

Damn, he gave everything he had out there. He played most of his matches with us at his poorest position -- in my opinion, of course --RB. I thought he was a good CB and an even better central mid.

i find it hard to believe you thought alot of him from the begining. he was making mistake after mistake and costing us matches.

yes have to give him credit for being a pro. after an extremily poor start to his fulham career and bullardgate scandal he did the right thing by knuckling down and working hard. would have been a very good player if he had a bit of pace

Solid back up player for us. Will probably be remembered for his finest game for us Juve... And the worst performance by anyone in a Fulham shirt QPR away.

To be fair to him though he has a shocking start to his career with us, as was torn apart at Villa Park. He was never a right back, but worked hard and didn't moan about not being in the side.

Could play at right back, centre back and midfield , sadly couldn't be described as good in any of those positions , best description could perhaps be average !
Will do a good job at their current level but Harry will get rid next summer if they get promoted !

How on earth can someone just say he was the worst player ever to wear the Fulham shirt without giving a reason why they formed that opinion? Unless he can substantiate that comment then I have to agree with Epsom.

Genuinely surprised that he's not ended up at a PL club.  I'd have thought he'd tick all the boxes for the newly promoted clubs.

As others have said, it's a shame to have lost him.  He did have a torrid start to his time with us.  He was never blessed with pace, so why Sanchez constantly exposed him to getting torn apart by pacy wingers (and subsequently, large sections of the Fulham crowd) I'll never know.  This must have been a difficult time for him, but he showed great professionalism and eventually got his opportunities to play to his strengths under Hodgson and then Hughes.

Best of luck Chris.  The sort of honest hard grafter QPR need more of if they want to be taken seriously.

I think the fact he had such a tough start but turned it round is why the fans do respect him despite his limited ability at this level. He knew what he could do and did that to the best of his ability and was a solid pro which every club needs. If memory serves, he kept Pantsil out of the Europa Final at right back so he didn't do too badly.

I can't believe anyone would have a bad word to say about Baird. Was a top professional who slotted in for the club whenever he was called upon. I quite liked him in the center of midfield and you never heard him complaining about his squad status. Good luck Bairdihno
