With the departure of Chris Smalling its interesting to look at who are the players who might be our 'Young player of the season' next time. Rather than looking at overall potential, I guess the easiest way to rank them is by looking at who is perhaps most likely to make the breakthrough to the first team next season and make the biggest impact when there.

So, looking at things as if I were William Hill Esq trying to build a book on who will win Fulham's 'Young player of the year' next season I reckon the runners look like this -

1) Stefano Okaka - 20 - FW
2) Christopher Buchtmann - 18 - LM/LB
3) Wayne Brown - 21 - AM
4) Rob Milsom - 23 - AM
5) Matthew Saunders -20 - AM
6) Matthew Briggs - 19 - CB
7) Danny Hoesen - 19 - FW
8) Keanu Marsh-Brown -17 - RB/RM
9) Stefan Payne - 18 - FW
10) Marcello Trotta - 17 - FW
11) Alex Smith - 18 - LB
12) Luca Moscatiello - 18 - DM

I think Michael Uwezu and Wes Foderingham will leave the club in the summer so have not included him.

(I have put their ages as at today's date)
