Ignore wages, ignore Arsenal, ignore everything else..

If he finally decided he wanted to see out his career at us under Hodgson whom he gained loads of respect for due to Europa league and said he was interested and he didn't mind taking a pay cut  - would you be interested - would you take him to Fulham?

How could we not accept? One of the best strikers we've seen in the Prem, ever.

However, there's a big difference between being unhappy and joining Fulham and, dare I say it, the cut in the pay cheque. I know you said ignore pay - but you can't - it would take a pay cut measured in orders of magnitude, I imagine, to move from Barcelona to Fulham. Wouldn't happen.

p.s. Do Fulham have a summer netball tournament? He could come in useful! ;)

Never going to happen in a million years.

Looks increasingly forlorn on the Barcelona bench. Not sure how he'd fit into Fulham's style of play, tbh.
All purely academic, though, as he's going the States, isn't he?

He's not that desperate, is he!?

Perhaps they may offer him to Liverpool for Torres and chuck a few ressies in. Liverpool are losing Gerrard this year and cant see Torres staying. At least the European shop owners wont be robbed as much in the future. I wonder how Liverpools crowd will fare compared to Leeds when they are playing Derby and Scunthorpe .

No because he would not be coming here to prove anything. We need either younger players or players who still have something to prove at this level (Nevland). So not for me as he simply is not what he was. We have Elm now.  :012:
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Rambling_Syd_Rumpo

No sale,he would upset the wage structure of the club and unsettle our current players,we are not that type of team and that is our strength :clap_hands:

Oh, yes he is. He will be playing in New York for the Red Bulls next year.

You still yet might see him in the Premier League. Wet Spam have made him a last ditch offer of 75k a week for 2 years.

Skint, up to their eyes in debt allegedly but can still find those sort of wages. That said, I guess you can offset a fair chunk of it against the money his name would bring to the club.

The other option is that they're still pushing season tickets and Del boy Sullivan is still tying to attract new mugs, sorry punters, that couldn't have anything to do with it could it?

The Porn Dwarves must be banging out a load of 'rhythm magazines' to pay those kind of wages!
"We won't look back on this season with regret, but with pride. Because we won what many teams fail to win in a lifetime – an unprecedented degree of respect and support that saw British football fans unite and cheer on Fulham with heart." Mohammed Al Fayed, May 2010
