Who do you support on Saturday England or USA

As the USA have Dempsey and former Fulham favourite Bocca in the team we are supporting USA.
All our family think we are mad not to support England. We will support England when they play any other team who do not have any Fulham players in their line up.

USA, since im an American but I have British blood. So I want England to do well. It would be great for the U.S. to win this game and help promote the game even further here in the States.
Fulham for life!

Rambling_Syd_Rumpo

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O'erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call'd fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'   :clap_hands: :clap_hands: :clap_hands: :clap_hands:

USA for me, despite being English. Nice guys like Clint and Boca on one side, and on the other one of the least likeable teams in the competition, all talk and hype, supported by the most deluded supporters you'll find anywhere outside Anfield.

Even if the US had 11 Fulham players, and England had 11 Chelsea players, I can't get myself not to shout for the three little lions when I see them (but it would help me stomach a loss extremely well).

But I obviously would like to see the US go through as well living in New York, so I would be pretty happy with a draw and a few good pints to be had by all.
If you wake up in the morning and nothing hurts, you are most likely dead

I live in the states so I would love a win, but a draw would be more realistic.

Demps will be playing Freddy, you don't need to worry about that.

Don't worry there is still plenty of room in the Tower of London...

I'm English by birth and nature, and so it will be England for me, though I will sing out for the US in any other match.

On the other hand, SWMBO ( :sir_roy: ) will be singing for the opposition this saturday, I can see a new War of the Roses ( :007: ) happening if it's anything but a draw though!!    :033:

England.. so proud to be English.

After the game against England..  i hope the USA do well and progress..

I am a Scot, lived in USA for 22 years so you can guess the answer.  Looking forward to a good performance from Demps and Boca. My son (born in Berkshire, England) is off to a bar in Boston to watch the match, wearing his Scotland jersey. (Just to help wind up the anglos).

USA for the cup! I can't wait to see the magic that Demps and Donovan will produce a la Confederations Cup. Fortunately for us, Brazil is devoid of some of their best players due to a coaching "deficiency", so it looks like we've got a shot. Let's go Yanks!  :028:
Time is blind.
Make sure in the parking lot of life, you do not take it's handicapped spot because then you'll be occupying time's space, the ticket for which is being thrown into a wormhole.

Yarden

I`m with USA this world cup since Norway are to poo to even qualify.

USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

England, my multi bet depends on it  :013:, but could handle Dempsey getting a double and winning the game
