I could see the following coming:-

Aurelio - Already been linked
Ledley - Would be good but a lot of clubs looking as well
Koren - We seem to be heavily linked with him and RH seems to rate him
Scharner - Have been linked to him in the last 4 windows it seems! Not too keen on him now though as we have cover at CB with Senderos and he seems to want to play in MF.
Alliadierre - We tried to get him on loan last summer and would be a good back up striker. Quick but he's not had the best of times at Boro
Kalu Uche - We were linked with him as well last summer

We could bolster our squad in important positions for next to nothing looking at some of the above.

I would definitely want Faye from Stoke if we lose a CB this summer, but I'd be surprised if he left.

I've spoken of Koren before, but we already have enough of his style player. Can't really see any others.

Sorta tangentially, is there some online database or media outlet that lists all the free agents??? You can find that out here in the USA for any sport really easily, yet it's seemingly impossible to do that for England/Europe.
