NFR - Lamela goal last night

Maybe I don't appreciate the finer things, but I just watched it on Youtube and didn't feel the need to replay it.

It was a nice goal.  I have no idea where I'd rank it in the grand scheme of things but the example above alone is better.

I think it shows how one footed Lamela is.

Must be the reason.

It's certainly spectacular and shows amazing technique (and he didn't rupture his Achilles) but my first reaction on seeing it was, 'Why?'

Agree he would have looked a right joe blunt if he had fell over or done his knee

It was a nice goal but wasn't there a foul just after the pass? A defender was pushed over in the box.

Great skill but I still think Kasami's effort against Palace, Konchesky's against West sham and Zamora's against are more impressive.

Ruiz has also had a couple of spectacular efforts.

The lad clearly hasn't got a left foot if he has to do that to get a shot away. I would have him in for extra practice rather than pissing around with the fancy stuff!!
