Simply because if we lose like we did whole weekend is ruined.
We are worse off before others kick a ball....I love Sat 3pm kick offs win or
lose as you can walk through the park after and listen to all the other scores coming in.
Also Im selfish as where I live in Suffok and work cant manage to get to game...

You have a great point, except that I love Friday night games, it leaves me free to do things with the grandkids Sat/Sun, oh I also only live 5min walk away from Cottage, that helps

funny you should mention that, I got asked during the week if I was going to clear the leaves, I just said they are keeping the ground warm.

Yes you've just reminded me, I'd better rack up some leaves, they keep falling in my pond and will contribute to next years pond sludge

Ah, the dreaded pond sludge..and the gutters blocked with leaves to follow....How I love this time of year in the garden.

You people have Ponds(how posh)ive only got a rusted bucket by the
Shed with the dogs tennis ball floating in it...lol

Berserker

Bet your garden is bigger than mine, a third of it is taken up with the pond, much to my husbands annoyance. But I love frogs and wild life so had to have a pond. Anyway how can I be posh, I live in Swindon

I quite like Friday games and if I was the club i would. Look at all home games on a Friday.  No competition for crowds and more focused press because nearly always the only game that night.

I have an 'ignorant Yank' question: when did Friday Night Football make it's way into the schedule? I have only followed Fulham at the Prem level and don't recall ever watching a match on Friday night (well late morning for me).

Was this done for TV? Are the Friday night matches televised throughout England? Looked like it might be televised through England given there were actual announcers on the stream I watched.

Would that really make that much of a difference? Chances are Chelsea Qpr or both won't be at home when we're playing at home to avoid crowd congestion on transport. Does anyone really care enough about the championship or Fulham as a neutral to go to a Friday night game rather than a Saturday game? It would always be overshadowed by the Friday night live game too.

Silly idea to me, most fans enjoy the normal 3 pm Saturday game with the odd Friday night game thrown in to mix it up. Playing every Friday and not being part of the weekend schedule would be rather odd and not ideal for a family club.

I can see the thinking behind it but not for me. It makes the weekend too boring as it is,  I couldn't cope with doing it every home game on top of that.

I got mine all raked up yesterday(to keep her Quiet)
Just looked out this morning and some so and so has been round during
night and dumped another load on there.. :005:

It has certainly been difficult to get over the disappointment of Friday night, even the confirmation yesterday that QPR had lost again did little to raise the spirits as it usually does.
