I was just thinking today after waking up this morning with my ears buzzing and a massive headache only to realize it was due to watching the quarter finals in a loud pub with TV's on full blast yesterday.

Eventually it is a given that Australia (or a combo with the Kiwi's) will get a World Cup. Which is a very good thing, and I am all for it. However, I do hope FIFA have learned their lesson from those bloody South African trumpets and will ban didgeridoos from the stands... I can't even imagine what my head would feel like after 120 minutes of listening to that with a few cocktails on the side :030:

Good point Finn - and we must come up with something more inspiring and original than "Aussie Ausie Aussie, oi oi oi !!"

This was bloody clever though...

Well it wont be until 2022 at the earliest Mr Finn. We have pulled out of the 2018 bid.
But have no fear about the didgeridoos. It takes a hell of a lot of practice to get any sound out of them - alternate breathing and all that - and only a few can master it. More likely to have a symphony of gum leaves I reckon.
The runner up on "Australia's Got Talent" a couple of years ago was a gum leaf player - that's how highly we regard them :034:
