Another game. Same mistakes. He must go tomorrow. We've been utterly terrible for months.

Surely there cant be any debate anymore. If we have any chance of surviving the change needs to happen now

Buffalo76

That's it and that's all.

We're currently in freefall under Kit with no guidance, no plan, no direction, no tactics or any real fight or leadership. We're League 1 bound with him in charge and as I see it, it's going to get much worse as the games go on. I'm sorry, but this isn't just about having a poor team now, we really don't have an adequate manager either!!

KIT OUT

Dragoman

Kit says "We're a team in transition." Yes, Kit, in transition to League 1.

Hersham Henry

Agreed, out of his depth! Act NOW while a new manager has 3 games where ANY points would be a bonus to start sorting things out and give us a chance of staying up. Lets hope Millwall don't win tonight.

Mince n Tatties

Yes...he is taking us down no question about it..

robert

We will stay up not due to our skill but because fortunately inthis league there are three teams worse than us.

Khan probably wonders what is going on?  Lets get Roy back!  ha

Domino1879

Simply no where near good enough.  Tactically naive and predictable.  Devoid of ideas.  Even if we manage survive in this league this season - and its a big IF - Kit has demonstrated that he lacks the ability and quality needed to take this team forward.

Fulham76

Probably the easiest team in the league to play right now. We're such a soft touch & now we can't score either!

Logicalman

I don't believe there is a manager out there that would be able to save this season as of now, with the team we have and the position we are in, it's not just the tactics, it's the whole thing.
Logical is just in the name - don't expect it has anything to do with my thought process, because I AM the man who sold the world.

You are spot on. As I have said before  ask yourself the question " if he did go would he get the top job anywhere else in the uk ? " the answer is a big No - Kit  isn't good enough it is as simple as that. He is too dogmatic and hasn't the necessary experience to be so set in his ways

....or how his ulterior motive is progressing at the London end of his operation....?....?

I do wonder if Ian Holloway, Lee Clark and Malky McKay get as much grief on their clubs' forums as Kit Symons gets on ours. The three managers mentioned inherited poor teams that haven't improved in their tenures. I'm not as pessimistic as many on this board and fully expect us to stay in this division.

We will stay up but it will be as Robert posted. This doesn't make Kit the right manager. If he loves the club he should ask Khan to let him go back to his old job and work with a new and more experienced manager. That way we keep his real skills it gives us some element of continuity and we might then be able to create a strategy for next season.

Name them. Bearing in mind blackpool got a point at ours, Millwall went unbeaten against us with 4/6 and Brighton made us look silly at the cottage.

Edit. I'm on holiday and just seen Brighton won two in a row to go above us.  Wait wasn't hughton available? Why didn't we bring in a relegation specialist again? And I don't mean in the way kit appears to be a relegation specialist.

The bookies are offering 16/1 on relegation.

An hysterical thread even before yesterdays win.

An hysterical thread even before yesterdays win.

I don't think it was hysterical at all, and one win, albeit Derby, will still not be enough to save us from the drop, if the inevitable was to happen. As of Derby, we were 8 games without a win, in complete free fall. No direction, no sign of winning a game, and shipping goals at an alarming rate. We were, and still are, in danger of sleepwalking to another relegation if we don't keep up some type of form.

The Rock

Even before yesterday I was pretty sure we'd stay up and I still do, even under Kit.

He's done pretty well; taking that his goal was to galvanise the team and keep them up. Anyone who thought he was hired to do anything else is misguided. People lie, stats don't. Khan lied.

But it will take a Martin Jol or Hughes to bring in a Dembele or Berbatov. And an owner who doesn't lack ambition. Everyone still hates them, but their arms were tied the entire time. But don't think one minute that I thought Khan authorised the board or Kit to get players needed and they just didn't have the connections. It's pretty clear Khan is cheap and saw we weren't getting promoted and the proxy was to just stay up.

And so here we are.
