so what are the odds that we'll wind up doing a Toon imitation -- spend the whole summer talking about a replacement and then winding up with RayLew as "caretaker" for the entire season?

It would certainly save MAF some dough on manager wages. My current thinking is he is looking for someone who won't cost him much and has more promise than track record. If Sven signed it would be for a lot of money and I just don't see MAF paying his financial requirements. I think this is why we are hearing about candidates like Bradley, etc...
