Premiership Money in the Championship

How do you see the mass amounts of money being allocated to the relegated teams affecting the Championship? The amounts are staggering and increasing every year. Can you see a "La Liga" style influence in the Championship? What I mean by this is, that there will be 3-5 clubs who trade off with each other, being promoted and relegated amongst themselves while the rest of the teams are basically fodder for promotion.

Although you are right about this, there is still a massive drop for being relegated. Teams have to sell when they come down so I can't see it really being effected in that way personally.

Do you think it could actually be more negative? With the so called yo yo clubs having players on wages not affordable to the Championship. Lets say Aston Villa get relegated, can you see any of their new signings staying?

Possibly. I think it depends on the club. Look at the teams that came down last season. QPR have an idiot in charge who like to blow money so it shouldn't effect them too much although they won't be spending all the parachute payments. Burnley never had any premier league quality players on big wages. Hull will be hit the hardest because they are a proper club that had been in the league for a while. The parachute payments will help but as you've already seen they are selling everyone on large wages. So 95% of the clubs won't set the Championship alight, only the badly run ones.

The thing is they ha e a lot of money from last season,  but that's just used to pay wages etc.
Clubs need to have a 40-50% wage reduction in place across the board as the money from the parachute payments won't cover their wages on coming down.
Managed well a team coming down will have more money so should do better,  but its still a massive drop on being in PL.
