The guy is already getting grief through our social media outlets. We really do have some moronic fans out there, some that I'm ashamed to be associated with FFC. The guy hasn't either kicked a ball and he's being branded as 2 bob, terrible, rubbish and son on.

I get that he's nothing special, but if he's another Etuhu type player, then I'll be thrilled. Break the play up, give it to O'Hara or LVC.

I think this is all to do with Ohara's start to his Fulham career.  Clearly we were in for McDonald but Wolves do not want to sell.  Ohara has done very well in the DMF roll and I suspect we have decided we now do not need McDonald who would have needed to be a starting  player pushing Ohara to the bench.  Matilla is I susect purely a squad player who can be used in 2 positions we need cover for.  Proper defensive MF and central defender.

There has already been one incoming transfer to Craven Cottage this week, after midfielder Sakari Mattila signed an initial two-year deal.

"He's very disciplined, he's a Finland international," Symons said of his latest signing. "He's very versatile, can play at centre-back at a push as well, he's got a good range of passing, a good striker with both feet, he's scored quite a few goals from free-kicks.

"We've got a lot of competition now for deadball specialists, so he's another one. He's a player flagged up very well by our stats department. Mike Rigg went over and watched him a few times so we had plenty of reports on him, and it's another good acquisition for the squad."
