Thank you and I am glad I was able to get Wayne on the show. Like you mentioned though Mike and David were excellent and overall I think it was one of our best episodes ever.

Russ, firstly thanks for producing the show it must take a lot of organising.
If you don't mind me giving a little feedback. It is always very long and if you look at most successful podcasts they are usually 30 mins or so. Have you thought about trying to speed up or cut out certain bits? I think you might get even more listeners if that were the case?
But once again thanks for doing it, th sections with journalists in the last few have been ally interesting
Cheers

I'll answer on Russ's behalf. We have tried to do some 30 min shows (Roberts transfer for example) and a couple of other subjects.
That works best with only Russ and one other co host, once you move into 2 or more it has to be a bit longer.
Last night for example was only meant to be 60 mins at most, but we had to extend it as there was so much to get in, and quite frankly we could have continued for quite a while longer.

I'm in favor of doing the 30 min quick bulletin ones, but its all about finding the time to do that. We could quite easily do a show everyday between all the hosts, but that would be overkill.

We are always looking at improving the shows and always review it when we have feedback, so thanks for that.

I really like the podcasts and have no problem with the length of them keep it up. The only feedback is i find it hard to download as an mp3 from my mobile. I can do it on a desktop computer but struggle on my phone. it could just be me being stupid.

If #6 is true why is he still on the payroll?
No one can get to the bottom of Curbs and his role at club.
He left when Magath was here and then Kit wanted him back. He was sort of employed by Kit and not pushed on him by the club.
I'm surprised hes still here as always thought he would go when Kit went.

I never understood this one either.  It appears as if Curbs has few responsibilities and little accountability.  Whatever he does, it's a non-job and always has been.  It's no wonder players and prospective managers keep pushing the envelope for more money.   Curbishley's wages would be better invested elsewhere.

Possible that it's cheaper for the club to keep him on and pushed off to the side than it is to buyout whatever contract he had for the remainder of Kit's 18 month deal?

Thank you for your thoughts and feedback. I know Mike already touched on what is going but I wanted to add one other development that I am working on.

I am hoping to use a tool soon that will allow me to break up the show into segments and post them along with the entire show.

I will be testing this service soon and hopefully that will be something that will help fans that just want to listen to a part of the show.

Thanks as always for listening.

Russ

I keep waiting for that list of surprise candidates that Veysey teased for his website during the interview. The bookies' list seemingly changes by the moment. If Wayne doesn't publish soon, his information will appear stale by comparison.

Or, perhaps, something is happening more quickly than expected and there is no need to publish a list of names when one is so close. (a hope/theory)

Just odd that he'd tease the article and then not publish soon thereafter.

This is what Veysey says:

1. Steve Clarke AGREED a £500,000 per year contract with FFC. Fulham were convinced he was going to be the new manager. Clarke's agent had no problem with the basic salary but then demanded bigger bonuses, Khan refused to pay. Hence the Clarke U-turn.

2. Interestingly, he suggests the Clarke deal is not necessarily dead. The suggestion being that if Clarke came back and says he will sign the original contract that was offered, he may still become manager.

3. Pearson was the first choice and was interviewed. However, Fulham are unlikely to be prepared to pay what it would cost to bring the two Leicester coaches with him. As this would cost £2m plus.

4. Veysey also suggested that the FFC baord are not totally convinced that Pearson wants to manage Fulham and that he is waiting for another Premier League job.

5. A year ago the FFC job was between Kit Symons and Steve Bruce. The suggestion is Symons got it because Bruce would command a much higher salary - he is on around £1m per year at Hull. However Bruce does fancy a London manager's job.

6. Curbishley wants the job. However, Grant has been put in temporary charge because the FFC hierarchy believe Curbishley did not provide enough support to Meulensteen when he was coach.

7. FFC currently have no one lined up for the job.

8. "No chance" of Stuart Pearce being offered the job.

9. FFC NOT interested in Hasselbaink

10. Jokanovic (ex-Watford) is an outside bet, but difficult to tempt him away while his current club is still in the Champions League.

11. Symons was sacked because he didn't meet the target he was set, which was 33 points after 20 games. He got 20 points after 16 games so that was it, he was out.

12. Moyes NOT in the running, would cost too much and he is waiting for a Premier League job

13. Chelsea coach Steve Holland is under consideration

14. Bruce was on the verge of joining a year ago but Hull gave him a better deal

15. Moussa Dembele has been offered a four-year deal but he's not going to sign it so good chance he will leave in January.

16. Billy Davies is under consideration
Number 3: As this would cost £2m plus.
2m plus for a management team from a chairman that is a billionaire plus and wants premier football, instantly...
Doesn't seem. A lot really does it!
Does he really think he can get instant success without spending big?
Blimey, his advisors are not very good it would seem!

I trust Khan has good intentions for our club but really think drop of realism is needed.

Flirt with inexperienced management team or go for the big time in reality?

Seriously 2m for a successful team of 3 - go fot it or stop talking about promotion.

Of course, there's always my personal favourite for the job!
