A member of the FoF family we are curious as to what decade you were born in.  Please see the poll at the top of the General Discussion page and let all of us know.

Cheers,

Anyone can blend into the crowd.  How will you standout when it counts?

Err, why ?

I'm not a brain surgeon but I guess it has something to do with trying to see what age the majority of users on the site are

It might be better to ask, "what decade some posters on here are stuck-in"

Just voted - would not have predicted the results.  Does this mean that in 20 years there will be a dramatic tail-off in people using this website?  You'd better start attracting the yoof of today.  Not certain what they are into.

Well,  I am a Brain Surgeon, and I guess it has something to do with trying to see what age the majority of users on this site are.

Very good.

As far as I'm concerned anyone under 50 is a yoof.
Do you reckon anyone on here was born in the 1920's?
They would have to be at least 87.

I was advised this forum consisted mostly of males over 35 . Therefore the decades should be before the 1990's

All - this survey serves two fold.

1. To allow us at FoF to know what the general age of our members are.  This vital info allows us to know what age groups we are a tracking and what age groups we should work on a tracking.  This allows will help us to know how we can better reach the masses and keep FoF a forum that is both excepting and appealing to all ages.

2.  It provides a bit of fun and knowledge for our members to see just how many people on the forum come from the same decade as themselves, and should you find our numbers in your particular decade are low....then you should help us with requiting new members.

P.S. - We are really hoping that we can find a member who was born in the 1920's.  A lot of great history happened in their life time and I for one would love to hear their stories.

40s, by 15 days, from being in the 50's, not 30's!

MJG

As you know I run a few surveys of fans and I have age group data from 5 that I have run over last couple of years.
Here is the data for comparison

Initially I'd say the forum does not have enough younger participants.
And that's exactly how I would expect it. The younger generations are more social media involved and forum like this are seen as bit old hat.
