I using #1 and I can see them. They just sit there and look back at me but refuse to enter my posts.

That is a strange one.  I know you probably have already done this but try to shut your computer completely down and restart.  If it still persist let us know what browser you are using and version of the browser.  You may need to update it.

The issue has continued ever since the recent make over. Needless to say the 'puter has been rebooted dozens of times. My unit is not yet a year old. Its Windows 10 (Edge) and is up to date. I think I'm being punished for not supporting Hillary.

I watched the match today using Firefox and was able to use the emojies so it would appear that FOF doesn't like Windows 10/Edge.
Everything was fine prior to the recent make over.

Jim - dump the windows browser and firefox and use chrome.  I really believe it to be better and to have fewer problems.
