Not long to go now, for me this is the best sporting event on the calendar. Absolutely love it. Three days of intense golf that twists turns with every shot. Come on Europe

Just watched Medinah highlights again. Rose was phenomenal, but Poulter was a GOD. Neigh on carried the whole team

I like the Ryder Cup and switched on for the opening ceremony, god that dragged on a bit didn't it? I know the king was a legend but was way over the top that every few sentences he was mentioned, it for me room away from his memory a little.

Also really enjoyed the Captains selections matches prior to the ceremony.

I've lived in America for years and played golf fairly seriously for many of those years. I love the country, but I cannot abide professional US golfers. They feel they have a divine right to win. So, every time the Europeans beat them, I sing from the rafters.
Now we just need somebody to do the same to the All Blacks.

Sky offer a free £5 bet everytime your player wins a point.
He is in the first pairing. Come on Mr Rose!!

One of the great sporting events. Feel we have less chance of winning than before but we can definitely win. The other year when we were buried and came back is 2005 ashes for me. Unscriptable and better than any author could write. I had two darts at a board today. Hit treble 20 and double 18. Does that mean my luck is in or ran out? They only had two darts btw.

I also love the Ryder Cup, it's been great being here during the last 3 :0)
It's certainly the most intense and entertaining tournament of any sport and
that's coming from the Worlds original and greatest 'hacker, slasher and divot leaver'

I might have tempted fate this year by putting a poster in each of our 3 buildings
reminding everyone who won the last 3 tournaments duh !

Here's Rory's video of it, without all the obnoxious CNN commentary. This guy has nerves of steel. And that putt was a mile past the cup if he doesn't hit it dead center.
