Those who backed Chris Martin to score the first goal on Saturday should still be able to collect their winnings as own goals do not count in first goalscorer bets. 082.gif

I didn't know that.  I have an each way bet on Martin to finish top scorer in the Championship, though.  At 66/1.

If ever you want to back a game to finish 0-0 you should not back the scoreline but instead back no goalscorer.  The odds will be the same but should the game have only own goals you will still win as own goals don't count! :022:
