Reading the David Stockdale thread and was thinking how often a new manager (not just us) doesn't
fancy a player and he gets shipped out and not necessarily for a profit or biggish fee.
And then go onto better/worse things (ish) and the 'selling' or 'buying' club regrets it.
A couple of recent examples for us are

Martin
Stockdale.
Malone for Richards (Cardiff managers mistake)
Stearman
McCormack
Tunnicliffe ?
Frei  (maybe)

I don't count players like Dembele where it was out of our hands.

Thoughts anyone on a damp Sunday over here
VERY DAFT AND A LOT DAFTER THAN I SEEM, SOMETIMES

What you say is true and that is in my opinion why clubs should not waste their time replacing a manager unless they have to. IE if the present manager is not getting everything out of the team. Players are not all bad and there is no such thing as a perfect player. Everyone has faults. It is why research needs to be carried out before signing people. Whether they are players or managers because once signed you are stuck with them for a considerable time. Football is not an exact art and however good your team is  it won't win everything just as bad teams win sometimes

Pep Guardiola and Joe Hart is a good example
