We will be in London for a short while soon.

Can anyone recommend a good musical or play in the west end? I appreciate any ideas.

You could always go and watch the Rugby at Twickenham.

Serious recommendations please gentlemen/gentleladies.

Williams Tale

Go and see. Beautiful  the Carol King story  at the Aldwych theatre  top show , i didnt realise she wrote so many top tunes .

Book of Mormon.

Written by the guys who wrote South Park, so it's not the most serious/artsy. But it is absolutely brilliant.

Not a huge fan of the theater myself, but I absolutely loved it.

Yes she did and not just for herself.
Still got Tapestry Album.

Well, all depends on the dates but this is THE place to go:

Twelfth Night, Amadeus, Angels in America are the 3 I'd be looking for.
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

I clicked on this link without reading it. I am in Town tomorrow with my wife and going to a matinee. That will teach me to read things first. Probably get me kicked out of McDonalds too !!!
Thanks for that!

Totally agree with this - absolutely hilarious and clever too. Well worth seeing!

If you like something a bit darker, Ghost Stories is absolutely brilliant. It's by the guys who did The League of Gentlemen and is seriously edge of your seat/make you jump stuff. It's only on until March 15th:

You really are spoilt for choice. there is Phantom, Les Mis, Jersey Boys plus countless others. I think Phantom is the best show but for pure good time pleasure it has to be Mama Mia. Had everyone dancing in the aisles.

How about "Fiddler on the Roof"

Oakeshott

The RSC's production of Loves Labours Lost at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket is uniformly excellent.

Not really a fan of musicals, I like my theatre to be a bit more dramatic.  Amadeus would be my choice at the moment.  Failing that any Shakespeare.
