Tickets for trip to Fulham on sale tomorrow

Details confirmed for our local derby at Craven Cottage

Tickets will go on sale to Season Ticket Holders with 1350+ Ticket Access Points at 10am on Wednesday 5 April for our final away game of the season at near neighbours Fulham. With The Whites currently fighting for a Play-Off spot we have been given 2,767 tickets in blocks P5-P7 of the Putney End for the game at Craven Cottage on Saturday 29 April, kick-off 3pm.

We are unbeaten on our last eight trips to The Cottage, a run that stretches back to 1990, and a ninth game without defeat could go a long way to deciding the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off picture. Last season's meeting ended in a 2-2 draw while the Good Friday meeting in 2015 went down in Bees history as a Stuart Dallas brace and goals from Alan Judge and Jota wrapped up a 4-1 win for Mark Warburton's side.

Due to the anticipated demand, tickets will be sold in the following order:

Season Ticket Holders with 1350+ TAP: Wednesday 5 April, 10am (one per person)
Season Ticket Holders with 1200+ TAP: Thursday 6 April, 10am (one per person)

The two Chelsea fringe players rivals Fulham simply must sign

Fulham are chasing a Play-Off place in the Championship and you get the impression with the likes of Sheffield Wednesday stalling, Slavisa Jokanovic's side could ghost in ahead of them when May eventually rolls around.

The Cottagers have been in good form for most of the campaign and barring the poor 3-1 home defeat to Wolves a couple of weeks ago, there's certainly enough talent in this Fulham side for them to be competitive in the Premier League, if they were to make it back to the top flight via a top six finish.

Looking forward to the summer, it's imperative that the Cottagers bring in some quality to boost their ranks, whether they're still in the Championship or indeed do make it to the Premier League.

And one side that is always looking to develop their young stars is Chelsea, with a number of players set for more loan spells away from the club next season. But with two players having already done well at Craven Cottage this season and their first-team future's at Chelsea looking slim, should Fulham be making permanent moves?

With that in mind, here are the TWO Chelsea stars Fulham really need to be bringing in on permanent transfers this summer...

Lucas Piazon
Why change something that isn't broken?

Well, that's certainly the case when it comes to Brazilian winger Lucas Piazon, who has had a pretty decent loan spell at Craven Cottage this season.

The Brazilian wide man has provided a real sense of balance to the Fulham side this season and there's absolutely no reason why club bosses shouldn't try to convince him to stay for another season.

Tomáš Kalas
Another Chelsea star that has been playing at Craven Cottage this season is Tomáš Kalas, who has seriously impressed under the guidance of Slavisa Jokanovic this campaign.

The Czech international is now 23-years-old and you get the impression that he might struggle to really break into the first-team at Stamford Bridge now, especially with the likes of Kurt Zouma waiting in the wings.

But like Piazon, there's absolutely no reason why Jokanovic shouldn't try and bring in Kalas again next season, potentially even on a permanent deal if the club can find the funds.

Fulham beaten after Button's blunders

Button's mistake proved costly for Fulham
Derby 4 Fulham 2

David Nugent scored a hat-trick at Pride Park, where Fulham's promotion hopes took a major blow.

Floyd Ayite netted both goals for Slavisa Jokanovic's side, who were punished for two defensive blunders – both involving David Button.

Having climbed above Sheffield Wednesday and into the play-off places at the weekend, the Whites dropped out of them again after Wednesday won at relegated Rotherham.

In an action-packed first half, Nugent put Derby ahead, Ayite equalised, Button saved a penalty from Nugent – who made it 2-1 two minutes later – and Sone Aluko hit the post.

And errors by keeper Button led to Nugent and then Johnny Russell scoring second-half goals before Ayite pulled one back.

Fulham went behind after just eight minutes, when Nugent lifted the ball over Button after being set up by Marcus Olsson.

The visitors responded strongly and equalised on 35 minutes.

Ryan Fredericks crossed from the right and the ball ricocheted off of Derby's Bradley Johnson into the path of Ayite, who blasted home.

With Fulham on top, Tomas Kalas handed Derby a chance to regain the lead against the run of play when he brought down Matej Vydra.

Button dived to his left to keep out Nugent's spot-kick but was unable to deny the striker when he fired in after a Rams corner had been headed on by Alex Pearce.

Again Fulham's response was strong – and they were desperately unlucky not to equalise again when Aluko's left-footed strike hit the woodwork.

However, they faded after the interval and a defensive aberration led to Nugent scoring again just before the hour mark.

Tim Ream made a mess of his attempted clearance and Button then belted his straight at Nugent, who held off the chasing Ream to score into an unguarded net.

And another howler resulted in a fourth Derby goal.

Button's woeful throw dropped to straight to Craig Bryson and the midfielder found Russell, who took full advantage.

Ayite finished well following a sharp counter-attack with 12 minutes remaining, but there was no way back for Fulham.

Derby County 4-2 Fulham: Player ratings from a night to forget at Pride Park
A Dave Nugent hat-trick helped to inflict defeat and put a dent in Fulham's play-off challenge at Pride Park

Derby put a massive dent in Fulham's play-off hopes as they beat the Cottagers 4-2 at Pride Park.

Dave Nugent bagged himself a hat-trick, two coming from defensive howlers, while Floyd Ayite's strike had pulled the visitors level in the first half and they will be disappointed to have been beaten by such a scoreline.

Slavisa Jokanovic made three changes to his Fulham side as they faced Derby hoping to keep hold of their recently gained place in the Championship play-off places - recalling Lucas Piazon for the first time since he sustained a jaw injury against Cardiff.

Derby took the lead in the eight minute when the ball was dropped into Nugent over the head of the centre backs who made no mistake about lobbing David Button as he rushed out of goal.

Scott Malone was causing problems down the left, as was Ryan Fredericks on the right and Fulham nearly got back on level terms when Malone received the ball in behind the defence, but his opted to strike at goal instead of cross to Sone Aluko, forcing an easy save out of Scott Carson.

But the visitors did equalise when Fredericks outpaced Macrus Olsson down the right before fizzes in the ball, which was half cleared to Ayite who took a touch and smashed it past Carson and into the bottom of the right hand corner.

But Derby were handed an opportunity to get back into the lead when they were awarded a penalty, but Button denied Nugent before he stuck the ball away from the resulting corner to give Derby the lead once again.

Aluko nearly dragged Fulham level in additional time when he was found eight yards out from goal, but his strike was smashed against the bar with Carson beaten.

Nugent got his hat-trick when a defensive error from Ream and Button and allowed him to tap home into an empty net before Button's poor clearance in the 68th minute went straight to Johnny Russell who smashed the ball low and hard to make it 4-1.

But Derby got their third when Tim Ream was caught in possession at the back by Nugent, who won a challenge with Button before brushing aside Tomas Kalas to stick the ball into an empty net.

Ayite got his second of the game on the counter after Button had made a good save to set up the attack but it was too little too late for the visitors who will be disappointed to have lost the game in this fashion.

Button 5: Made a wonderful save from Nugent's penalty and will be annoyed to have conceded from the resulting corner. His challenge wasn't strong enough to deny Nugent his third but he made a few good saves. His poor clearance to Russell lead directly to the home side's fourth goal.

Fredericks 7: Put in a stunning ball for Ayite's goal and was a constant problem for Olsson down the right wing.

Malone 7: Like Fredericks he was a problem as he marauded down the left wing with his crosses causing problems to the back four of Derby, but there wasn't any one on the end of them

McDonald 6: Gave the ball away in midfield a few too many times as Fulham were building their attacks

Cairney 6: Another quiet game from the star man as he struggled to make an impact in the midfield after Rowett had done his homework and ensured his players shut down any space as soon as he had the ball.

Ayite 8: Caused several problems down the left in the first half and scored a wonderful goal to put Fulham level, while also getting their second. Was the standout player in an otherwise poor performance from Fulham.

Ream 5: Was caught in possession for Derby's third when he turned back to goal on the half way line and looked shaky in the lead up to Derby's second. Should've been sent off for his tug back on Nugent early in the second half but was lucky the referee didn't see.

Johansen 6: Didn't have too much of an impact of the game as Fulham struggled to break Derby down in the second half and he was replaced by Gohi Cyiac with seven minutes left.

Piazon 6: His jaw injury didn't seem to stop him from going into some heavy challenges but apart from that it was a quiet game from the loanee who didn't look 100%.

Aluko 6: Hit the bar from eight yards out when the score was 2-1 but didn't really have much to cheer about all night.

Kalas 6 : Not the best of games from Kalas as he and Ream struggled to deal with the counter attack all night.

Subs:

Kebano 6: Was sent on at 4-1 down with 15 minutes to play and helped set up the second goal.

Sessegnon N/A: Did a nice turn to beat Baird down the right but, like Cyriac, wasn't on long enough.

Cyriac N/A: Very little time to have any impact on the game.

Slavisa Jokanovic believes Fulham played a good game as he compares his side to a 'young wine'
A Dave Nugent hat-trick gave Derby a 4-2 victory at Pride Park and Jokanovic believes his side missed experience to make the right decisions

Not enough experience: Slavisa Jokanovic (Photo: Bryn Lennon/Getty Images)

Slavisa Jokanovic compared his Fulham side to a "young wine" after they suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Derby at Pride Park.

Dave Nugent bagged a hat-trick while Johnny Rusell grabbed the fourth as Derby pounced on defensive mistakes, which they made the visitors pay dearly for.

Floyd Ayite was a saving grace as his two goals rounded off a good showing from him, but Jokanovic believes his side played a good game tonight and were just missing that bit of experience to see them through.

He said: "I believe my team played a very good football game tonight,"

"From another side, we missed a little bit of experience to make the right decision in the right moment.

"In Spain they say it's like 'young wine.' We need time to be a very good wine.

"In the end, we played very well, we are strong, but today we paid a very expensive price because we didn't make enough good decisions in very important moments for us.

"We must stick all together and be strong, fighting until the end of the season. I believe my team play the best football, but we haven't made enough good results at the moment.

"In these six games
we have to hit fifth gear and push hard to fight to be at the top of the table.

"For all [Derby's] goals we could have reacted better. We scored two goals in an away game, but you can't expect to score five goals to win the game.

"We played the offensive part of the game very well, we created many things. We finished two times and we could have finished some more. Today we played very well and we didn't win the game, and we still need to play better."

Championship round-up: David Nugent hits hat-trick for Derby to derail Fulham's play-off hopes
Sheffield Wednesday's victory at Rotherham meant that they leapfrogged the Cottagers back into the top six places

One-time England ace David Nugent smashed in a hat-trick for Derby to knock Fulham out the play-off places.

Striker Nugent also saw a penalty saved by David Button - moments before grabbing his second.

Nugent had seen his opener cancelled out by Floyd Ayite before his zero to hero moment.

He completed his treble just before the hour mark ahead of Johnny Russell's drilled finish, as Gary Rowett remained unbeaten as Derby boss with a 4-2 win.

Fulham have now been overtaken by Sheffield Wednesday - while the Rams kickstarted their promotion hopes, moving to within seven points of the top six

Steven Fletcher scored a first-half double for Wednesday as they comfortable dispatched of local rivals Rotherham.

Leeds are now also in danger of dropping out of the top four after their defeat at Brentford.

Wigan are one step closer to an immediate return to League One after they were humbled by Ipswich at Portman Road.

Freddie Sears scored a couple after David McGoldrick opened the scoring in the early stages.

The Latics now have seven points to make up if they are to remain in the second tier of the pyramid.

It proved to be a bad night for all of the teams at the bottom, as Birmingham were beaten at Brighton, while Bristol City and Blackburn also lost.

Preston put five past Bristol, with four of the goals coming in a frantic 20 minute spell at the start of the second half.

Nottingham Forest also remain two points from the bottom three after a 1-0 defeat to Wolves.

Nugent Labels Second Half Showing As 'Different Class'

Hat-trick hero David Nugent labelled Derby County's second half performance as 'different class' after they recorded a 4-2 victory over Fulham at Pride Park Stadium.

Two goals in the first and another in the second – all before Johnny Russell's sublime driven finish – saw the 31-year-old claim the matchball from an enthralling contest with Slaviša Jokanović's play-off chasing side.

The result also ensured that the Rams claimed back-to-back home wins in five days to maintain their revival under Gary Rowett since his appointment as manager last month.

Against a Fulham side that many have described as the best team Derby have faced this season, Nugent says it was a 'massive' result for the club as they continue to apply pressure on the rest of the play-off chasing pack.

The January signing from Middlesbrough told RamsTV: "It was very eventful!

"That was particularly the case in the first half for myself, but all in all, we have got the three points and it's a massive win for us against a side above us in the league.

"We have closed the gap just a little bit more. Sheffield Wednesday obviously won (2-0 against Rotherham United), but we have still got to play them.

"All we can is win our games and hopefully the teams continue to lose a few."

Nugent, particularly, was full of praise for Derby's attacking play in a second half in which they looked like they could have scored each time they went forward.

That was not the case over the first 45 minutes, though, as the Rams struggled to get to grips with Fulham's stylish possession-based game, but Nugent revealed that the Rams benefitted from a tactical switch at half time.

Rowett, the Derby boss, once again proved he is not afraid to make the tough calls as he introduced Jacob Butterfield at half time in place of the in-form Matěj Vydra to make the midfield more compact.

Assessing the switch, Nugent added: "I thought we were different class in the second half.

We struggled a little bit in the first half with their possession game, but we made changes at half time and we benefited from that.

"Fair play to Vyds (Matěj Vydra), he went off for tactical reasons so we could make it more compact in the middle. It worked and we fully deserved the three points.

"The new manager and his staff have given us the belief to go forward and play in the opposition half.

"We are getting the ball forward quicker and playing with a higher tempo. It seems to be working at the moment and the lads are playing like this."

And what about that matchball?

"I have got my daughter and my girlfriend at home so I will be taking it back to them," he said. "My daughter will be over the moon to see that in the morning."
