Liverpool are preparing to battle Tottenham and Manchester City for the summer signing of 16-year-old Fulham sensation Ryan Sessegnon.

That is according to the Daily Mail, who say the Cottagers wonderkid is one of the Reds' prime targets for when the transfer window reopens.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have also watched Sessegnon this season, who has featured regularly for Fulham despite his tender years.

He has made 22 appearances in the Championship, including 14 starts, scoring four goals.

Brentford top 1,600 ticket sales for Fulham clash; less than 1,100 remain
The Bees received 2,767 tickets from their west London rivals and a number of fans have already purchased in the neutral section of the Putney End

Brentford have sold over 1,600 tickets for their final away game of the season at Fulham.

The Bees received 2,767 tickets from their west London rivals and a number of fans have already purchased in the neutral section of the Putney End.

And, with still over two weeks to go until the fixture, the Bees have sold 1,671 of them.

Season ticket holders with over 750 ticket access points are now able to buy them and those with over 500 ticket access points will be able to do so from Wednesday morning.

All season ticket holders will be eligible for a ticket on Thursday with tickets opening up to all club members on Tuesday April 18.

Brentford will be looking to exact revenge on the Whites after suffering a first league defeat to them in November since the clubs were in the Championship in the 2014/15 league season.

The Bees have won three of their five meetings, including a 4-1 win at Craven Cottage on Good Friday and they drew 2-2 there last season.

Fulham transfer target Emenike orders agent to find him a club in England

Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike has ordered his agent to find him a new club in England a source close to the club revealed to Turkish-Football.

The powerful forward got off to a good start this season scoring seven times but has fallen off the pace since.

Emenike has not been on the best of terms with Fenerbahce head coach Dick Advocaat and is expected to leave at the end of the season.

Fulham are plotting a move for the Nigerian international according to Turkish sports newspaper Fotomac.

Per the source, Emenike is currently in London in pursuit of joining a club based in England.

Emenike has experience playing in England having spent a season on loan at Premier League outfit West Ham.

The 29-year-old has a total of seven goals and four assists in in 21 appearances in all competitions this season.

The experienced striker will have just a year remaining on his contract this summer and Fenerbahce have not offered a new deal.

Liverpool Hoping To Sign £15m-Rated Defender Ahead Of Man Utd & Spurs

Managers are now making plans for the summer transfer window so we'll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe. Today, Liverpool are hoping to complete a deal to sign Ryan Sessegnon....

Liverpool are hoping to fend off competition form the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham to sign Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

Sessegnon has been with Fulham since joining the club at just 8-years-old and progressed through the youth ranks before breaking in to the first team set-up at the start of the season.

The 16-year-old has developed in to one of the hottest young properties outside of the Premier League and became the FA Cup's youngest ever goal-scorer after finding the net during the Cottagers 2-1 win over Cardiff City back in January.

Understandably, the teenager is attracting plenty of attention with the Mirror reporting in February that Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool are among the clubs showing a keen interest having watched the £15m-rated defender several times this season.

Jose Mourinho is gearing-up for a busy summer and a new left-back could be on the agenda with Luke Shaw's future at Old Trafford in serious doubt while Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino could be eyeing Sessegnon as a potential back-up to Danny Rose at White Hart Lane.

However, the Daily Mail claim that Liverpool are hoping to see-off competition from their rivals to secure the defender's signature after Jurgen Klopp made Sessegnon one of his prime summer targets.

The Reds boss desperately needs to bring in a new left-back to replace Alberto Moreno at the end of the season with James Milner forced to fill-in at the back for the majority of the campaign.

Sessegnon looks to have a bright future ahead of him so he would be an excellent long-term solution for any of the clubs showing an interest but Fulham will no doubt be keen to keep hold of him, especially if they manage to secure promotion to the Premier League.

The Londoners are in the mix for a play-off spot but I think they'll struggle to hang on to Sessegnon if they fail to secure a return to the top flight this summer with so many top clubs vying for his signature.

Report: Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon makes decision on future amid Tottenham and Everton interest

Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Liverpool are among the Premier League clubs chasing Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon.

A report from Get West London has suggested that Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon is ready to deal a blow to the likes of Tottenham and Everton by signing a new deal at Craven Cottage.

Sessegnon has enjoyed a brilliant year in the Championship. The 16-year-old has made 22 appearances for Slavisa Jokanovic's men in the league, scoring four and contributing two assists from the left flank.

Unsurprisingly given his age, Sessegnon has quickly developed a long list of Premier League admirers, with Get West London linking Spurs, Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal with an interest, but he is ready to make a big statement on his future.

According to Get West London, Sessegnon - who really put himself on the map with a stunning display against Newcastle in March with two goals in a 3-1 win at St James' Park - is planning to sign a new contract with Fulham on his 17th birthday having already agreed a pre-contract deal.

The news will undoubtedly be a blow for the likes of Tottenham and Everton as they will now have to pay a sizeable fee if they hope to sign the youngster, who is clearly destined to play in the Premier League one day having not looked out of place in the second tier.

And while this development may prevent a bidding war this time around, it would hardly be a surprise if Tottenham, Everton, Liverpool and several other top flight teams soon get the chequebooks out to try and land the signature of one of the brightest prospects in the Championship.

The Tony Gale Column

Saturday's result against Ipswich Town was the perfect tonic to our defeat in Derby earlier in the week. It was a potential banana skin so that made it a good win. I thought it was going to be one where we might need to be patient, so to be 2-0 up inside half an hour was a real weight off our shoulders. Mick McCarthy sets his teams up to be really difficult to break down so it's always handy when you get early goals.

Before we got our third goal in the second half, Marcus Bettinelli made two great saves which were absolutely crucial, because who knows what way the game could have gone if they'd got one back. It was a big moment for Marcus coming in. He's waited patiently for his chance, and I firmly believe that there's not a lot between the two goalkeepers. David Button has now got the job of trying to displace Marcus, who will want to make his current possession of the shirt count. And that's all good and healthy for the football club, having two good goalies fighting for a place.

Chris Martin also came into the side, and he impressed up top as we adopted a slightly more direct approach on occasion. Sometimes in a game you have got to go longer. I was a footballing defender but you have to know when to play and when not to play. Sometimes, especially when your centre-forward is having a particularly good game and is getting the better of the defenders, there's no shame in hitting it into your striker. It's okay to go more direct and get in and around your target man trying to pick up the second balls. You've got to be able to mix your game up because it's important to have some unpredictability in your locker.

We now go into a tricky looking Easter period, starting with a trip to Carrow Road on Good Friday. Norwich will be on cloud nine now after winning 7-1 at the weekend. You might have expected a result like that if they were playing bottom of the table, but against a decent team like Reading it was a blinding score. Norwich don't really have loads to play for at the moment as I think the Play-Offs are beyond them. In my opinion they've underachieved this year as they've got a really good squad and I was expecting them to be right up there.

Alan Irvine has been put in charge of Norwich until the end of the season, and he's someone I worked with at Blackburn. He was just starting off his coaching career, working under Kenny Dalglish and a former Fulham man in Ray Harford. You could see Alan was destined to become a coach, and it wouldn't surprise me if he kept the Norwich job beyond the end of the season. A few more results like that one at the weekend and they'll have to give it to him. Alan will be trying to pick the place up at the moment and finish well, so that they can hope to have a good start to next season.

After that we've got Aston Villa on Monday, a side who've turned a corner. They started off really well when Steve Bruce first came in. Then he bought a lot of his own players in, and the results funnily enough dipped in January. But now those new arrivals have settled down, results have started to pick up again. Watch them next season; I'd tip them as probably one of the favourites to go up.

Jonathan Kodjia cost them a fair whack in the summer, but he's proven to be an inspired signing with 20-odd goals this season, which is a great effort at a mid-table side. He went off injured in his last game but I understand it was just a dead leg so he should be back in time for our match.

It would be nice to have a top-six spot secured nice and early, but at the moment I would settle for it all relying on the last game. Sheffield Wednesday were dipping a little bit so that win over Newcastle will have picked up their morale. If we get to Hillsborough, last game of the season, with it still in our hands, I'd settle for that. Although on paper Wednesday have got the easier run-in, we have tended to play better against the stronger sides, so there's still plenty of hope.

Burton Albion injury news: will Lasse Vigen Christensen be back for Ipswich Town clash?

Could Lasse Vigen Christensen be back in the Burton Albion squad on Friday?

Nigel Clough is hopeful of having Lasse Vigen Christensen available again as Burton Albion prepare for the visit of Ipswich Town on Friday night.

The Fulham loanee has been a regular starter in the Brewers midfield since joining in late January, racking up 12 appearances in that time.

But following tireless performances in the 1-0 win at Huddersfield Town and 1-0 defeat at Newcastle United last week, the 22-year-old was forced to miss the subsequent draw with Aston Villa with a tightness in his glutes.

Christensen's absence saw Michael Kightly return as part of a three-man central midfield, alongside Jackson Irvine and Luke Murphy - a change that underlines the depth of quality in Albion's current squad.

Clough would like to have the Fulham star in his options again for the Ipswich game, when the Brewers will be looking to secure a victory that could move them as many as eight points clear of the bottom three.

Asked if Christensen's absence from the squad agianst Villa was down to tiredness and rotation, Clough said: "No, it was an injury.

"He felt something after Newcastle, in his glutes, which were very tight. He could hardly move after the game on Wednesday night.

"We are hoping he;ll be all right for Friday, but we'll see how he settles down this week."

Other than the injury to Christensen, Albion's squad looks in good shape ahead of Ipswich's visit, despite the notable efforts they exerted in that busy week against Huddersfield, Newcastle and Villa.

And while the Brewers will face another quick turnaround following the game against the Tractor Boys, with a trip to Birmingham City to come on Monday, Clough will not be looking too far ahead when it comes to selection.

"It's pretty much the same squad, we hope," he added.

"We're carrying the knocks that we've been carrying for the last few weeks. We've got a good, clear week - or six days - to recover from the incredibly hard we've had.

"So hopefully they will all be available. What happens after that, with a game just two or three days later, we will see. It's one at a time, especially at this stage of the season where every game is important, with so few left now.

"Everything that we've got, we'll try to get a result against Ipswich on Friday, and then we take the consequences after that."

West Ham interested in Whites boss Jokanovic

West Ham are interested in Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic.

Manager Slaven Bilic is under pressure after a troubled first season for the Hammers at the London Stadium.

The club are assessing potential replacements for the Croatian, whose side are 14th in the Premier League table.

And Jokanovic, who has transformed Fulham into promotion contenders, is on their radar despite recently signing a new contract at Craven Cottage following interest from Spanish club Malaga.

The 48-year-old guided Watford to promotion to the top flight in 2015 but left that summer after failing to agree a new contract.

He returned to English football with Fulham six months later after a short spell at Maccabi Tel Aviv. The Whites were 18th in the Championship table.

They initially continued to struggle, finishing in 20th place, and West London Sport revealed last August that Jokanovic was at odds with the Fulham hierarchy over the club's transfer policy, which he later confirmed.

However, it has been a very different story this season, with Fulham – bolstered by a major overhaul of the squad – just one place outside the play-off spots with five matches remaining.

West Ham target Fulham boss Jokanovic should they replace Slaven Bilic this summer - reports
The Fulham manager is the latest linked with the Hammers

Slavisa Jokanovic is a target for the Hammers, according to reports (Photo: Bryn Lennon/Getty Images)

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic is the latest man lined up to replace Slaven Bilic should West Ham decide to part company with the Croat this summer, according to Sky Sports.

Jokanovic is the fourth manager to be linked with Bilic's post in the last month, following Rafa Benitez, David Wagner, Roberto Mancini apparently in the running for a job that isn't there, yet.

The 48-year-old Jokanovic has been in charge in west London since 2015, helping Fulham avoid relegation by just a single point after he took over.

Slaven Bilic has had a tough season (Photo: Bryn Lennon/Getty Images)

His first full season in charge has seen the Cottagers challenging for a play-off place in the Championship as they currently sit seventh, six points out of the top five spots.

Bilic relieved some of the pressure on his shoulders after five straight defeats by beating Swansea 1-0 at the London Stadium on Saturday but that apparently hasn't stopped speculation about the manager's future in east London.

The board came out in public after the 2-1 defeat to Hull City a fortnight ago to reassure Bilic and fans that his future was secure at the club.

Striker tells agent to find him an English club, Fulham could even get him for free

Fulham could have the opportunity to sign Fenerbahçe striker Emmanuel Emenike in the summer following claims the Turkish club will offload the player this summer. The Nigeria international has been linked with Fulham in recent weeks.

Hurriyet have reported Emenike is keen to get a move to England this summer, and the attacker has instructed his agent to find him a club. Fenerbahce want the player to leave the club in the next window, and are even prepared to let him go on a free transfer so that the move is made permanent.

Last month we covered reports Emenike was to travel to England to have a trial with Fulham after previously being linked with the West London side in January.

It was also claimed the Nigerian would hold talks with Fulham with regards to a move in the summer, but this could be dependent on the club getting promotion to the Premier League.

It's unlikely Emeinke would want to drop down to the Championship, and has even told his agent he wants to play in the Premier League.

Fulham still have a chance grabbing a play-off spot, and signing the player could rest on getting into the top flight.

Hammers clear on Bilic future

Sky Sports News HQ are reporting this afternoon that West Ham United would be interested in Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic (above) if they decided to relieve Slaven Bilic of his job this summer.

The Serbian who led Watford to promotion in 2014-15 has the Cottagers  within two points of the Championship ply off places and was freely mentioned as a possible for the Hammers job before Slav took over.

The Irons in fact didn't invite him for an interview and our information following this story is that should Slav lead the club to safety this season there is next to no chance of him being replaced by anyone anyway.

The Hammers aren't looking at any possible replacements seriously as they are determined to allow the boss to lead the club in the third year of his contract assuming they get the sort of finish which now looks possible.

We were told: "Jokanovic is just another name people choose to throw around but the likely scenario is that Slaven will be in charge next season and although a new deal won't be offered immediately he will be given the time to earn one."

Fulham handed major boost in multiple club chase for international striker

According to sources close to Turkish Football, Fulham's pursuit of striker Emmanuel Emenike has been boosted by news that he wants to return to England.

This report suggests that Emmanuel Emenike has ordered his agent to find him a club in England, with Fulham reportedly keen on signing the in-demand forward.

Emmanuel Emenike previously spent half a season in England when he joined West Ham United on loan in January 2016.

However, the Nigerian international striker only scored twice for the Hammers in a disappointing spell, with both goals coming against Blackburn in the FA Cup.

The strong, quick and powerful centre forward is reportedly unhappy with his playing time at Turkish giants Fenerbahce and he will seek a summer exit.

The 29-year-old is entering the last year of his contract and Turkish media outlet Fotomac are reporting that he is currently in London discussing a move.

A number of Russian clubs are apparently rivalling Fulham for Emenike's services.

In Focus: Christensen is a rough diamond ready for Rodgers polish

As reported by The Daily Mail, Celtic are interested in the services of Fulham midfielder Lasse Vigen Christensen, currently on loan at Championship side Burton Albion.

What's the story?
The Hoops are on the lookout for talent all over the world in their search to add real quality to their squad ahead of UEFA Champions League qualification but may have found a diamond in a market that Brendan Rodgers knows very well indeed.

The Daily Mail reckon the Hoops are one of the clubs interested in Danish 22 year old Lasse Vigen Christensen, alongside the likes of Sheffield United and Birmingham City.

Christensen has made over 70 professional appearances in English football but has failed to force his way into the Fulham first team this term and is said to be looking for a fresh start to kickstart his career.

A loan spell at Burton Albion has given him some vital game time and he has put in some impressive performances since joining in January.

Good enough?
Christensen has been capped at five youth levels for Denmark and has 20 U21 caps to his name for his country, so the national team set-up over there clearly rate him. With that many appearances at that age group, you'd have to tip him to be a future senior Danish international.

Struggling to get into the Fulham side this season in their promotion push, he might not be the finished article yet, but has managed to come through their youth sides to make 68 appearances for the Londoners.

At 22 years of age he has plenty of time to become the complete package and under Brendan Rodgers would be working with one of the best coaches around at uncovering hidden talent.

He could be a rough diamond ready for the famous Rodgers polish.

Championship news: Fulham manager 'key target for West Ham'

A Championship manager is reported to be the target of Premier League side West Ham this summer.

Fulham boss, Slavisa Jokanovic is said to be West Ham's "number one target" if they choose to replace Slaven Bilic this summer, according to Sky sources.

West Ham secured three points against Swansea at the weekend, easing their relegation fears - however, the team had seen five defeats in a row, raising questions about Bilic's future.

Jokanovic has been at Craven Cottage for 15 months now and Fulham are currently seventh in the Championship, two points off the play-off places - competing for a top six spot alongside Derby County, Sheffield Wednesday, Preston and Norwich.

Sky Sports News HQ understands that West Ham's board have been increasingly impressed by Jokanovic's "ability to promote young talent from Fulham's academy into the first team".

This is the latest managerial link in the past few weeks - West Ham have also been linked with Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez and former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.

The reports come after the club issued a statement in support of the current manager.

The West Ham statement said: "To end speculation once and for all, the board feel it necessary to announce that we have 100 per cent faith in Slaven Bilic's ability to lead West Ham United.

"Despite press speculation to the contrary, the manager's position is not under threat.

"The board know that Slaven and his coaching staff have the full backing of the playing squad and the overwhelming majority of supporters to lead West Ham United out of this difficult spell.

"The board now urge all supporters to unite behind the manager, his staff and the squad as we go into some important games.

"We all have complete confidence in their ability to end a testing run of results and finish the season on a high."

West Ham fans move in support of Slaven Bilic on Twitter

West Ham United's move to the London Stadium was supposed to herald a new dawn for the club as they moved into the modern new era, though it's so far proven to be rather an unhappy environment thus far.

The move from their famous Boleyn Ground home was always going to be a difficult one, though few could have imagined the sheer number of problems plaguing the club ever since they uprooted over to Stratford.

Amid problems on and off the pitch, the future of manager Slaven Bilic has been called into question, though the win over relegation rivals Swansea City last weekend will surely have relieved some of the pressure from his shoulders.

Having presided over one of the best seasons for the Hammers in recent memory last year, the Croatian established himself as somewhat of a darling of east London and his history with the Irons is always likely to see him retain a popular status.

So, a story from Sky Sports claiming the club would target Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic should they opt to replace him at the end of the season have been met with a relative backlash online.

The West Ham board aren't currently the most popular bunch amongst supporters after a comedy errors in the transfer market and, while the Cottagers chief is by no means a bad boss, is barely the most exciting option to replace Bilic.

Three Fulham players who could follow Jokanovic to West Ham United if Serbian is appointed

The Cottagers boss is being linked with a move to the London Stadium if Slaven Bilic leaves West Ham.

West Ham United will target Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic if they decide to part company with Slaven Bilic, according to Sky Sports.

The former Watford boss has sculpted an impressive side since his arrival in west London in early 2016, but which of his stars could follow him across the capital should he take the Hammers' reins?

Ryan Sessegnon

Handed his senior debut by the Serbian at the age of 16, Sessegnon's early displays have only increased the number of interested parties from the league above. And though West Ham aren't exactly desperate for left-backs, the position has proved problematic at times this season. It's not hard to envisage the youngster wanting to stay close to Jokanovic as he continues his footballing education.

Tom Cairney

The Championship's alternative player of the year, according to some, Cairney has scored nine goals and made 10 in the league this season, prompting Fulham to deter suitors with a £20 million asking price. The central midfielder is unlikely to remain in the second tier if the Cottagers fail to go up, however, and a move to the London Stadium would make a lot of sense, especially if his manager goes first.

Stefan Johansen

Cairney's displays have allowed partner-in-crime Johansen to go somewhat under the radar, despite the Norwegian having scored eight goals and made another seven himself in the league this season. Brought to Craven Cottage from Celtic by Jokanovic last summer, the 26-year-old's past suggests he'd have little trouble making the step up to West Ham's level.

Show me the money: The Fulham players that are surely going to be worth big bucks

Fulham supporters could be set up for an interesting summer transfer window with a number of their players being linked with big money moves away from the club.

The Cottagers have opted to sell some of their key players in the past for big money and this pattern could be about to continue in the coming months.

They were able to flog off key forward Ross McCormack for an eight figure fee which admittedly is quite a lot for the second tier and they also offloaded promising young striker Moussa Dembele to Celtic.

And even prospective winger Patrick Roberts, who was just a teenager but the former Europa League finalists decided to cash-in on the attacker for a huge fee when he signed for Manchester City – although he's yet to break into the first team there and is currently out on loan.

Something similar could occur again in the summer for Fulham, and here are two players who could go for mega bucks.

Ryan Sessegnon
Having been linked to the Premier League "giant" clubs that are Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, Ryan Sessegnon is likely to be on his way out Craven Cottage at some point in the near future, despite being just sixteen years of age.

The defender has caught the eye of scouts from across the country and even continental Europe so any approach for the youngster will undoubtedly be publicised.

With the value of footballers under 20 worryingly rising every year, it won't come to much a surprise if we saw Sessegnon depart Fulham for at least £5 million.

Tom Cairney
The 26-year-old has been one of the Championship's stars since making the move from Blackburn Rovers to Fulham, and it's clear as to why he is worth just so much.

Tom Cairney is towards the top when it comes to the division's most effective midfielders – you only have to glance at his stats to realise that: the Scotland international has provided eleven assists for his Cottage team-mates and hit the net 9 times himself.

Valued at £20 million in January, Cairney may not leave the club this summer if they continue to mount a play-off push but he may demand a transfer away if they can't and a line of potential suitors will be forming, which only raises his price even more.
