It's quite sad but that doesn't fill me with any excitement.

Zero chance - even if we do get promoted.

The League has a policy of not pitting local rivals against each another on the opening day. It's not by chance that there's never a Manchester, Liverpool or north London derby on the first weekend of the season.

Although ourselves versus Ch***ea is not as likely to result in on- or off-field confrontation as the aforementioned rivalries, it would still be considered too much of a potential flashpoint.

Away to Spurs and then we can continue our 100% Wembley winning streak......

Home or away to any Prem club would suit me

We will play Wednesday next Saturday, then again twice in the play offs and then again as the 1st game of next season.

Four Wednesdays in a row has the makings of a good quiz question.

Will it be away to Sheffield United or home to Sunderland, I hope not.
I would rather be either away to Brighton & Hove Albion or home to Tottenham Hotspur.

Because Spurs home games next year are at Wembley and they are struggling to win games there!

But didn't we lose at Wembley in 1975. No 100% record according to my stats. At the moment we have a 100% losing run

domprague

No chance. They're definitely safe from relegation.
You came all this way ... and you lost, and you lost.

Hmmm good point. A 66% winning run then.

Lol, don't care who we play in the first fixture as long as it a Premier League match! Stupid topic this, should wait until the end of the play offs.
