A Russian runs British football

Watching Sky's ingratiating show on Chelsea last night, rather than review the weekend's games for at least 30 minutes as they usually do, makes one come to the conclusion that Roman Abramovich runs British football.

All the media are obseqious in their grovelling pandering to the blues, and the offciials have to follow suit. The referee last night waited only 5 mins to book a Watford player, setting the tone and message for a diver's paradise from the team that cheats the most.  After 10 minutes 2 Watford players were cautioned, neither 'foul' making any contact.

If one were to make a video of Eden Hazard going down SCREAMING this season, it would last about 5 hours!!  Yet nobody has ever hinted that he is a con-artist of the highest kind, on the contrary, he was awarded Footballer Of The Year (I cannot remember the last time and English player received that award in England).

What has this to do with Fulham, you may ask?  It's in Chelsea's interests for Fulham to fail to be in the same division, competing for new young fans in the locale and growing potentially under the ownership of a multi-billionaire who would invest heavily if we were in the top flight.

Hence we were given the worst referee for our home game against Reading who had no other plan but than to prevent football!  Attwell, from nearby Nuneaton once awarded Reading the infamous "ghost goal" so his appointment to such a crucial fixture has to be in question. 

Martin Atkinson has a history of helping Chelsea, so much so, Sir Alex Ferguson once commented on it.  Atkinson also gave a phantom goal to Chelsea against Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-finals, so impressed were the FA they gave him the same fixture again this season.  Although this official is rated as one of the best (of a bad bunch), I have no faith after watching the first match in any fair play tonight.  If there is a conspiracy by our neighbours to prevent us being in the PL, they would not leave the job half finished.

One final point; with all the rhetoric from the Europeans and mainstream media in America regarding Russia and their threat to Western democrasy, why has a former Putin ally and Russian oligarch been allowed to not only be in charge of a club in England, but influence the FA and all of the written press and television to doing his bidding?

Proves all this political posturing is more "fake news", they turn a blind eye or even fawn over the 'right' Russian when they feel like it.
