Panic ensues at Craven Cottage when the EFL announce that, due to refereeing errors, the home leg of the play-off v. Reading will be replayed on Friday.

The big bit of kit would have been a tight squeeze to get in.

Wow that is pretty drastic. Do they relay the turf every season. In the old days they just scattered a bit of seed. The pitch looked great all season.  I hope they have someone on top of the stand shouting "Green side up"

Looks to me like they are reinacting the game on Tuesday. It's 3 on 3 and Reading have parked the bus again

Interesting (maybe) question.

With our ground it's obviously quite easy (relatively) to get a digger in and returf the pitch, but what you reckon they do on the new McBowl stadiums with no open corners? There's no way to get the diggers in surely..

I think you will find they are building a pub there.

Or maybe the long awaited return of the supporters club bar?

If I'd have known I would have had some of that grass for my garden.

Would it have been lifted over the JH or driven in via the Hammy End gates? I need to know now.....

Preparing for a penalty shoot-out, no need for the goal posts or net if we are taking them!!

Presumably in the main gates and down the players tunnel?

Well if Martin can fit down that tunnel then I'd say the machinery most likely did too

It seems that serious work going on this close season. There will be no Party on the pitch this year

If they did lift it over the JH stand, £5 tickets to sit in the Riverside with a free beer included  and watch it happening would be a tempting offer.
