Former Fulham and Nottingham Forest man handed eight-month prison sentence after Olympiakos crowd trouble

Midfielder is responsible for one of the great Premier League goals

Remember Pajtim Kasami?

I'm sure all Fulham fans do, but take a look at this just in case, to refresh your memory.

Kasami is responsible for one of the great Premier League goals of all time when he crashed home that volley against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in 2014.

But things have not been quite so rosy recently.

The midfield man has been playing for Olympiakos since joining the Greek outfit from Fulham in 2014.

But just a year after joining from the Whites, Kasami was involved in a controversial game against AEK Athens, when he was accused of inciting crowd trouble.

Kasami was accused of going over the top in his celebrations and was ordered to pay a fine of 7,000 euros immediately afterwards.

But after further complaints from a fan, the former Fulham man has now been handed an eight-month suspended prison sentence as a result.

Tottenham to stick with youth recruitment model

Teenage sensation Ryan Sessegnon has set his heart on a summer transfer to Tottenham, according to Football London.

The sports site claim Spurs will stick with their youthful transfer model this summer as they continue to focus on emerging stars with their best years ahead of them.

Football London report that one player who is increasingly likely to end up at White Hart Lane is dazzling Fulham wide man Sessegnon, who has emerged as one of the outstanding young players in English football.

It is said that Liverpool have already given up on signing the teenager as they believe he is fixed upon making the move from west to north London in the summer window.

Spurs could now be ready to spend big on Sessegnon as he fits the bill of a young player with vast potential and who can be developed by Mauricio Pochettino and his coaching staff on the training ground.

Sessegnon, who turned 17 last month, is regarded as the next Gareth Bale given the impact he has made since entering the professional game as a flying left-back, the position where the Real Madrid star began his career.

The teenager is so highly rated among his peers that he was last week named in the PFA Championship team of the season despite his tender age.

Sessegnon, who can play at both left-back and on the left wing, has made elite clubs sit up and take notice with his precocious Championship displays in the recently completed season.

He has scored seven goals from 30 first-team matches in the campaign and also weighed in with four assists, remarkable tallies for a player who is not only foremost a defender but also one who is so young.

Five Crystal Palace stars who Fulham, Brentford and QPR should be looking at this summer

We take a look at five recently released Crystal Palace players who may be on the radar at our West London teams.

As clubs up and down England make their final decisions on which players they want to retain going into next season, one club in a current state of flux is Crystal Palace.

We take a look at five players being released from Selhurst Park who could be on the radar of Championship clubs Fulham, Brentford and QPR.

Fraizer Campbell
The 29-year-old former Manchester United, Tottenham and Sunderland star has been deemed surplus to requirements and will be looking to secure regular first team football next season. Campbell made 13 appearances for Palace last season and is sure to be on the radar of a number of Championship teams.

Jonathan Benteke
The younger brother of Christian Benteke, Jonathan joined the Palace development team from Zulte-Waregem in September 2016 but had a tricky time after suffering a knee meniscus injury. The 22-year-old will be looking to kick-start his career and may well look further down the footballing pyramid in order to do so.

Mathieu Flamini
A long-shot as Flamini is likely to attract offers from around the continent and in his native France, although he could be tempted by the right opportunity to get another crack at the Premier League.

Zeki Fryers
The 24-year-old has struggled to break into the first team setup at Selhurst Park on a regular basis. Fryers has experienced loan spells at Rotherham United and Ipswich Town and so will undoubtedly be looking at a number of Championship clubs as his next step.

Joe Ledley
Ledley would be a real coup for any of our Championship sides. The 30-year-old is a regular in the Welsh national set-up and may well attract attention from the Premier League, but could be tempted by an ambitious promotion-contender in the second tier.

One Of Newcastle's Top Transfer Targets On International Display Today

At the World Cup qualifying game today at Hampden Park in Glasgow between Scotland and England it will be attended by a number of scouts, including those from Newcastle, with the prime interest being in Fulham's midfield dynamo Tom Cairney, who is likely to leave the London club for the Premier League this summer.

Certainly the Scottish International had two excellent games against us in the Championship and it seems that Rafa Benitez is keen to sign the player this summer to strengthen the central midfield at Newcastle.

Other PL clubs who are said to be interested in signing the 26 year-old include Bournemouth, Swansea and West Ham United and those are some of the lower level PL  clubs we will be fighting for our transfer targets – at least for this summer.

Fulham's midfield dynamo Tom Cairney in Scotland's colors

Tom had an excellent season last term for Fulham who made the playoffs under impressive manager Slavisa Jokanovic – and he will be hoping to keep his midfielder to  launch another promotion bid in the coming season.

In 51 total games for Fulham last season Cairney scored 13 goals with 12 assists and his form earned him his first Scottish cap in March of this year in their 1-1 home draw against Canada.

Tom will be expected to start the game today against England, so it will be a tough test for Tom and worth watching the game on TV to see how he does on the International stage against a full strength England team.

Tom was born in Nottingham and started his career at the Leeds United Youth Academy before joining Hull City back in 2007.

Six years later he joined Blackburn Rovers in 2013 where he stayed for just a couple of years before joining Fulham.

Fulham linked forward 'dreaming' of England move, agent flies in for talks

Former West Ham United striker Emmanuel Emenike is dreaming of playing in England, report Fanatik. Emenike was linked with a move to Fulham during the last transfer window.

The Nigerian striker looks set to leave Fenerbahce this summer because their new manager Aykut Kocaman doesn't see the player in his plans for next season.

Fanatik say Emenike's agent is currently in England to get his client a transfer ahead of the summer window. It's been reported the 28-year old is content playing in the Championship if he can't get a move to the Premier League.

This could come as a boost to Fulham after the West London club tried to sign the Fenerbahce player in January. We covered reports at the time that Emenike was due to fly to England to hold talks with Fulham, but a deal never materialised for the Championship side.

However, with Fulham's' failure to get promotion to the Premier League, and Emenike's wiliness to play in the Championship, the forward could still be a possibility this summer.

Go For It Simon Grayson – These 3 Signings Could Massively Improve Preston North End Including This Fulham Ace

Three Signings That Could Massively Improve Preston North End Next Season

Simon Grayson could possibly leave Preston if Sunderland come calling and this could be a pivotal pre-season for them.

They managed to over-achieve last season (at least until the end of season malaise anyway), and are probably only a few signings away from challenging for the playoffs next season. True, their support is minimal, but so was Huddersfield's in comparison to the likes of Derby and Aston Villa, and it is a no blocker to success in this league.

Keeping hold of Jordan Hugill should be the first thing to tick off in the summer but, in terms of incomings, here we look at three possible signings which could help North End achieve their ambitious yet realistic goals next season.

Jason Lowe (Blackburn Rovers)

25 years old, improving, captain of Blackburn Rovers, former England under-21 international, relegated to League One, looking for a way out and available on a free transfer. What's not to like?

Lowe would represent a very good signing for Preston and, being from Wigan as well as playing for Rovers, he knows the area very well. Lowe will understand what is expected at Deepdale and has the quality to play in the upper echelons of the Championship.

Ryan Tunnicliffe (Fulham)

With a similar profile to Lowe, except that he is mid-20's and a central midfield player, the lad from Heywood came through the academy at Manchester United and certainly has a good grounding.

Tunnicliffe is another player who is available on a free transfer this month and could be offered the chance to come back to his native north-west by Simon Grayson. Free transfers of this quality are rare and also leave Preston open to paying higher wages than they could normally afford in order to snare better players. Tunnicliffe would definitely be a step up.

Declan Rudd (Norwich City)

Chris Maxwell played most of Preston's games in goal this season but the jury is out on whether he will be good enough to be their last line of defence in a promotion season. Ex-Man United stopper Anders Lindegaard has been a disappointment too so goalkeeping reinforcements will be needed.

Rudd has spent time at Preston before and now needs to be a permanent number one after 9 years on the periphery at Carrow Road. The talented former England under-21 'keeper has spent this season in League One on loan at Charlton and has done very well, though he deserves to be at a higher level.

His contract at Norwich City expires at the end of June and so nabbing a goalkeeper of this quality for nothing would be a great move by Simon Grayson.
