Nervy at the end.

Not a great performance, but a win is a win.

Good job, 2-1. Made hard work of it but a vital win. Another win on Saturday and we'll move up the table nicely.

Never easy is it

Nice win. When you can win while not at your best it is all good. I will take the odd ugly win when necessary.
Good late subs by Slavisa. My MOTM is OJO with 2 assists. Ream best defender. Johansen much better. Ayite a real handful.

Would be nice if we could just win 3-0 now and then, but let's get this season started now.

Could have gone either way or been more comfortable for us if we had taken chances. But very pleased with a hard fought game that we take three points. Good to have subs that can make a difference like Odoi did. Still not convinced the first 11 is better even with everybody fit. But a good squad now and a good three points.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

Sunds as if we have yet to re produce last season's form but a win should help us along that rod.

I think this is a good take away from this match. Last season many said how Brighton managed to pull wins from nothing when they didn't seem to play like a winning team. It's always a positive to get shakey wins without doing it in the style that some others do, eg. timewasting, unsportsmanship and dirty play.

Good win and onwards and upwards  078.gif
