Why does the disease that is Terry get space on this forum?
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

Good for Terry.  Also good for us that he is not coming to Fulham.
Anyone can blend into the crowd.  How will you standout when it counts?

Now that I know he is not coming, I can put my Bazooka back in its box.

I understand the feeling but I think the silent treatment works better.

He lost whatever he had last season. He was terrible in his little cameos. Villa will be nowhere near the top of he gets even double figures of games. They have Elphick, Micah Richards, Neil Taylor and Nathan Baker at CB off the top of my head.
Wages thief and headline maker next season, nothing more, his name and reputation has carried him the past 2 years

It is the fear factor. Some feared it possible that he may find his way to the Cottage.

As long as he stays fit he will play, they won't want 100k in wages sitting on the sidelines.

So will the Epsom Hospital A&E Department.
So will all the disabled residents near the ground, as at least they have more chance of getting in their disabled parking areas.

Exactly, that's the point. He isn't good enough, he'll draw a reaction and a bit of a circus from the media but Villa can only lose here as they will haemorrhage 100k per week as strikers glide past him week in week out. He won't be dropped as he's a big name.
Different if he came in on low wages, and a deal to coach the youngsters too as that club need some decent coaching instead of now a third window of throwing money at a problem.

Deeping_white

Can't wait to see Sessegnon run rings around him later in the season then.

Sorry but how do we know he's on 100k.

Financial deals are rarely made public but those kinds of estimate apples rarely fall far from the tree

Well, if he pitches up to the Cottage in the New Year, we will just have to give him the reception his notable contribution to public life deserves.
