Dick Rowe's famous comment, "Guitar groups are on the way out."

Used to work with Dick Rowe later in his life.  A lovely man, but that remark haunted him for the rest of his career.

Nice to hear that he was a good bloke. And at least he achieved everlasting fame in the music industry.
He also fairly soon changed his mind about the future of 'guitar groups' when he landed the biggest consolation prize in music history by signing the Stones.
